I've been working on a couple old OCs of mine, and I wanted to make something with them! I made this in Kid Pix, which is why it's a little messy looking. I had fun with it though!

Day 18: Swap

For this prompt, I decided to swap my OCs, Shadow and Bramblerage.

Bramblerage is a warrior who met Shadow, who is a type of creature called a shadow. Shadows can possess cats, and Shadow does this with Bramblerage, using him to kill a cat called Bluesoul, who is Bramblerage’s mother.

In this drawing, I swapped Shadow and Bramblerage’s roles. Now, Shadowwhisper is the warrior and Bramble is the shadow. I feel like it would change a lot of the story, depending on how similar they are to their other versions. It was interesting to think about!

I made a meme with @goldendoodledraws characters, the Wayfarer and Two Lost Fangs! I've had this half-finished for a while, so I thought I'd finally finish it!

Day 9: Relationships

For day 9, I’m going to talk about my iterators!

I’ve thought a lot about their relationships with each other, but I haven’t made any ancients yet, so the ancients won’t be appearing in this post.

The iterators I’ve made (aside from my sona) are all in one group.

The oldest of the group are Fading Embers of Stars and Rumbles Into Rain. Embers came first and then Rumbles came afterwards. They were very close when Rumbles was first made, with Embers acting as its mentor for a time. Unfortunately, due to their relationships with their ancients, and a few incidents including the creation of the next iterator, they had a huge fight and stopped speaking with each other.

Intrinsic Harmony came after Embers and Rumbles, acting as a support for the two to keep the peace between them. Their job was to ensure that the iterators around them kept working on the great problem and to prevent any fights before they happen. Embers and Rumbles didn’t like them at first, with their constant nagging at them to keep working, but they both begrudgingly helped mentor Intrinsic. Embers eventually grew to care for them, but Rumbles’ resentment only grew over time.

The newest iterators are Two Lost Fangs and Ships Above The Horizon, and they were made at around the same time as each other. Because of this, they see each other as twins. Fangs, Ships, and Intrinsic grew very close to each other, talking to each other whenever they weren’t working. When the ancients all ascended, they comforted and supported each other. Rumbles and Embers helped with training the new iterators, but didn’t form as much of a connection as the three.

One Without Name is a special case among the group. Despite technically being the oldest iterator in the group, they were unconscious for the entire time the other iterators were being made, due to collapsing not long after being built. Because of this, they never got a chance to form any relationships with the other iterators. When they were awoken later on, their relationship with Rumbles Into Rain began very rockily. Rumbles already had a grudge against OWN due to being built as a replacement for them, but it also became upset when OWN started stealing its neurons to replace their own.

Day 6: Past

Today I was thinking of writing more about Katie's history! She’s never had a concrete written backstory, but she still has a lot of history to her, due to being my favorite stuffed animal that I would carry around everywhere with me for a long time.

The oldest drawings I can find of her were from 2011, so she’s been named Katie for a long time.

This one is from 2012!

I used to draw her doing stuff that I would do every day, sort of like a diary, but I also would make little stories about her. They weren’t very consistent; I just wanted to have fun imagining her in different scenarios, along with the other stuffed animals I had.

At some point, I gave her a boyfriend named Spot, and she also had a brother named Peter, though I lost Peter somewhere along the line. I even came up with ideas for Katie and Spot’s children, and two of them (Mischief and Katie Jr.) are actual plushies. Her mom is a Webkinz yellow labrador name Buttermilk, and I never actually made a dad for her as far as I can remember.

I’ve drawn so many things of Katie and taken a lot of pictures of her over the years. I’m not doing as much with her now, but I still cherish her and all the things I’ve done with her.

Day 4: Under-Appreciated OC

A little late, but for day 4 I drew Canopyleap and Myrtlehum!

I made them a while ago and I love them so much, but I still haven’t done much with them. They’re two lesbian elders who live together in a clan up in the mountains. They’ve been together since they were young and lifted each other up in times of hardship.

I have some ideas of more things I can do with them in the future, so they’ll be showing up again for sure!

OCtober Day 3: Old OC

I drew two OCs this time! These are Oceankit and Devilkit, two Warriors OCs I made in 2014.

They were both the children of their respective clans' leaders, and they ended up meeting in secret. When their two clans, Angelclan and Devilclan, went to war against each other, it was their friendship that ended the fighting.

I drew this in MS Paint and tried to mimic art styles that I had seen around the time of first making them. This was so fun to draw!

OCtober Day 2: New OC

This is one of my newer OCs, Roseguide! He is a warrior in a clan called Snagclan, which was devastated by a fire before he graduated from apprenticeship.

I'm still working on it, but I was thinking of making a clangen blog about him and his clan! I don't know when I'll be making it, but I'm still interested in the idea.

I decided to try drawing a few old OCs with similar designs to see if I could make them more distinct. I had a lot of fun with it!

I made Weaselpaw and Raggedbelly look similar since they're related, but otherwise, I tried to make them all look pretty different.

I made a plushie of Tails Doll! He’s a Sonic character that doesn’t appear very much, but I wanted to make a plush version of him since he looks so silly. I love how he turned out in the end, even if it took me quite a while to actually finish him.
