Jude Duarte is a great character in my eyes because I see her as so realistic and full of flaws that she appears mortal, as if she could be someone I go to school with. Just think about it, she craved power, to be in control, just as we do. She has been betrayed by almost everyone she gave herself permission to trust. She has a core of flames with which so many have gotten burnt, but she allows it be a source of warmth for people. Her humanity in a world of immortals is her greatest flaw yet it’s what makes her so perfect. She yearns for a world crafted at her hands, a world in which she calls the shots and although this is her demise it’s why I love her. So many characters lack that, they get their power and treat it as a right but not Jude. Only Jude benefits from her power, she finds the sanctuary she needs when she has it. 

To sum up this mess of a ramble, Jude Duarte is not perfect and neither am I and that is why I love us both.

What I want to see in 'The Queen of Nothing'

-Cardan being pressured into marrying Nicasia (or anyone else for that matter)

-Jude returns to Elfhame

-Cardan greets her with something along the lines of “Well, wife, it’s been a while”.

-Everyone is shocked and confused because he just called JUDE his WIFE.

-And Cardan will oh-so-casually turn to everyone and be like

-“Oh, you haven’t heard?”

I bet that the crew makes it a tradition to go to watch every mcu movie the night that it premieres. Aelin probably has the biggest variety of snacks, most of which she finishes herself. Imagine Elide sobbing throughout the whole of infinity war. Imagine Dorian being nicknamed Loki because they’re both ice queens™️. Imagine Evangeline dressing up as all her favourites, and having the biggest crush on spiderboy. Then picture Lysandra wanting to make her smile on her birthday and so she shifts into him.

Connall Moonbeam

He killed his brother by the command of the b*tch queen. But that speech he gave, when he said:

“You couldn’t let me have this—have any part of this for myself. You took the blood oath not to serve our queen, but so you couldn’t be bested by me for once in your life.”

When he said that to his brother, his twin, was that all him or was it what Maeve had made him say? I like to believe he had a heart, that it was all because of Maeve. He was a young, confused boy and his brother followed him, hoping to protect him. He was okay, he was a fighter, but when Fenrys left Maeve got to him. That’s how he became a monster. Monsters are made, not born.

Kings of Adarlan

First came King Gavin, who was gifted the by his father-in-law when he married Queen Elena. The land stayed peaceful for generation and then came King Dorian Havilliard I, who married Queen Georgina. The happy couple gave birth to two sons, Dorian II and Hollin. Dorian Havilliard II was crowned king after his fathers demise. Today I am added to the list of kings of Adarlan, and whether or not I can live up to this legacy, is yet to be determined.

Aelin once taught me a trick that I’ve been trying to implement in my life. “I am Chaol Westfall, and I will not be afraid.”

After the war I felt distant. I knew he was there for me, but a part of me felt as though I’d betrayed him by marrying Yrene. After weeks of prying I got him to talk about it. He flipped, explaining how he’d done some thinking through it all and realised I was the only one who’d been there for him through it all. At first it had sounded like pure madness, but after a while it started to make sense. It felt as though he was more than a brother, and it was finally starting to make sense to me. Dorian Havilliard is my home. Now, and forever.

I’m marrying Dorian, this is what the gods wrote our destinies to be. Sure there were some setbacks but we’ve figured it all out now. Now we can be the Kings of Adarlan
