daddy magic: gold standard genuine actual dad. one of the few guys he’s not Weird about, bc it’s his dad. they keep in regular contact with each other bc it’s a mutual love and care. goes to all his matches. tough on him without crossing any lines. scolds him about his stupid dance. emergency contact. has made me cry on more than one occasion (5/5)

angelo parker: his other actual dad. co-parenting with matt but is more distant, cuz it’s not like danny’s actually his kid. you know how it is. they still care for each other. emergency contact (3.8/5)

bryan danielson: psychological terrorist and arguably the source of every problem in danny’s life. arguably. made it abundantly clear that he wanted garcia in the bcc more than wheeler and fucked with him for fun when he unfortunately made the wrong decision. i’ll be straight w/ you it’s a hero worship wannabe-mentor/protege nightmare thing. this is why danny is Like That (-5/5) maybe it’s good that he’s dead

ftr: yeah both of them. uncle status at best (1.5/5) they get points for being weird and shitty during their tag match with dg and nigel and cuz there’s two of them

nigel mcguinness: odd. both are psychologically strange about danielson in similar yet violently different ways. disjointed mutual respect -> mentorship fueled by a subconscious impulse to stick it to danielson -> dragon is dead so what are they supposed to do with this vacant spite and grief -> genuine friendship (3/5)

chris jericho: i said danielson was the source of every problem in dg’s life i was Joking and i mean it for shoot when i say jericho fucked up danny’s growth irreparably (fuck off/5) maybe half a point for paying his medical bills that was dope

bonus eddie kingston: lol i think danny sees another gruff new york motherfucker and feels a tinge of mutual connection but that’s about it. danny’s a little weird about it when they get to fight and eddie couldn’t give two shits (1/5)
