Do not apply to scam tech jobs that want to hire comic book writers
So yesterday, I got a message from LinkedIn where a recruiter talked about my portfolio and how well it was until he sent me an email about the job description. However, I feel something fishy that all artists, writers, and even content creators should be aware of because there are more scam jobs than actual jobs around, according to my research. So I read the email very carefully, where the idea is to use your artwork will be later processed with AI and used for the rest of the shifts. The descriptions are very confusing and hard to understand at the same time. However, there are several shifts to work, but the pay or salary is not included in the email. So I have a choice to block the recruiter since they were asking about my contacts, like they are rushing my time. I am confused why tech companies want to hire comic book writers, because scam tech jobs may target comic book writers and other writers, as they often seek employment and can be more vulnerable to online scams. These scams typically offer fake job opportunities that require upfront fees or personal information, leading to financial loss or identity theft, which YOU NEED TO RESEARCH THE COMPANY ONLINE FOR SAFE PURPOSES!!! Most creative professionals, such as comic book writers, may be self-employed and less familiar with identifying job scams until scammers promote a contract or any full-time position in their company and ask you a lot of questions and pressure you to fork up a lot of money and personal information.

Calaborne As Outwoods 5: The Penny Benny Jenny Show Season 1 info plus updates
Penny, Benny, and Jenny were some of the first characters made when I was in seventh grade, and I was into anime, manga, comics, and cartoons by the time. Enjoying animation and picture books is something I want to pursue in my career and life. The inspiration for making the first couple of characters is Pok茅mon. Why Pok茅mon? I have been into Pok茅mon since I was a kid, and still today I enjoy the anime series. Penny Rareeyes, the design was inspired by Purple Heart from Hyperdimension Neptunia, since I love the hair and color. I chose magenta since it is a pretty color for Penny. Benny was an original character I made up since by the time strong independent women with strong writing and character (no woke) were a thing in my childhood. And Jenny was originally a Pok茅mon trainer-inspired warrior since she had a summons. Princess Peach inspired the final design since I want her to be a strong princess-like character. Littlest Pet Shops, Pok茅mon, and Sanrio inspired the Jensons. When the Buff Mode changed from the Jesnons, I never watched a single Digimon ever, I was inspired by the Buff Mode from Pok茅mon with Mega Evolution.
My childhood comic came to life when I animated my first episode of The Penny Benny Jenny Show on March 27, 2019. I continued to write the comics on Wattpad and finished off with hand-drawn animation since my iPad was broken by that time. I later made a 7-episode series called Penny, Benny, Jenny, Big Booty EW!!!! In March 2023. The title came from the show is an ass, making the worst and most fast-paced animation I can come up with since animation is not my type of work for the arts.
From January 1st, 2024, writing the first episode was a hype. In episodes 1 and 2, drawing a big fight between the PBJ Girls and the MAW Girls (Mary, AWOL, and Wendal) was amazing. Yes, it's a bit messy since the lighting of the line art wasn't good, but the colors felt like a retro comic from the 1930s. I drew the lineart around when the sun doesn't come until the summer, and using some lights around my house was very difficult; I wasn't stressed since I see this as a challenge. For coloring from my laptop, I was still learning, but I was rushing at the same time because I had dealt with chores, home problems, and so much more while dealing with my mental health. Until I kept coloring and drawing better and it will work out great at the end.
From episodes 3 to 16, I made a couple of short comics that were inspired by the cartoons I made and turned out with simple line art and exotic colors. I do enjoy the funny comics, and it's very quick and easy. But the problem was that I mostly used scrap paper to draw the comics and take pictures of them. During that time, it was winter and we used the lights. They were bad for my camera to get the right lighting, but within 6 years of photo editing, I managed to make the contrast line art very bright and easy to color. Yes, I was not happy with the messed-up art that destroyed the pixelation, and the lines are also crispy. Not a big fan of it, but the colors are still good to me. Episodes 17 to 32 were me writing Penny and Mary's fight and how they met. I wrote this when my mom was in surgery, and this was one of the best stories I wrote, but still, I did my heart and best to make the art special and iconic. Still, I did not enjoy the lighting and how it ruined the line art after I edited it bright, but I still see it as a well-known art in my heart.
Episodes 33 to 44 were about a dumb story :) Well, the Walmart fight was very messy, and I felt rushed about it since the line and color were blurry. I look like I made some abstract art, but I see it as a terrible episode. Episodes 45 to 48, the effects of the comic change along with writing in the landscape, because I have to draw the comic during work due to a staple blocking my doodling. I experiment with the tones of the comic and later switch back to portrait to finish a fight and a story.
Episodes 50 to 55 were impressive in terms of the colors, but the lineart is starting to go downhill since I later used a small doodle journal made from scrap paper before I went to work at a restaurant that got into amenorrhoea: the absence of menstrual periods. Therefore, making an episode with no fight scenes was quick and fun to make. But drawing the fight scenes is a work of art.
Episodes 56 to 61 were pretty much the greatest ones since it was summer and the sunlight helped me with the lighting of my lineart, and the colors were improving. I am still learning how to make it possible for me to be a successful comic/manga writer/artist. I have had the passion to draw and write stories since I was in eighth grade. Even now, I don't have lots of views on Calaborne As Outwoods 5, all I care about is finishing the season. I have been a comic artist/writer with a small audience for six years. Yes, I felt disheartened, but this made me love myself and made it a part of my life. And so, juggling work, writing other comics, and doing house chores was a pain, but I am fast on my time management. Thank you for reading Season 1. Season 2 will be coming soon in the future :)

UPDATES: Season 2 will be coming soon, and a date will be on this coming soon.

Calaborne As Outwoods: HighLand WonderDrug (process so far)
When writing the first episode from December 25, 2024, I was thrilled, but I wasn't a big fan of writing chapter one because I was not great at making a good beginning at the time. At the end of episode one, I want to make a series about being a musician with free will and sharing whatever you want. The art from the start, I was using my laptop to color, and it wasn't that great until I got an Apple Pen, and it worked for a couple of episodes. Until I kept using it and made good coloring and shading, which I was very impressed with. I used to color my art from the laptop, till this day I do that for my doodles (no wonder why it looks strange). The first episode was not my favorite because I tried to make an impactful episode one, but as I kept the story rolling as the main theme of the main heroes fighting the 27 Club and The Beatles, I got better with the story and coloring. Since episodes 1 to 11 were with the weird coloring, line art, and story, I am learning how to use the iPad, and it does work well with the Apple Pen. Episode 12 to 27 was the days I work in home as a freelancer and still have good process with the art and coloring with experimenting brush strokes and layering mostly lightening public domain or borrowed images online. Episodes 28 and 29 were the days we went to Washington, D.C., and did the line art while we traveled, waited for food in restaurants, and rested in the hotel rooms. I am a quick drawer, but manage to keep the details perfect.
Episodes 30 to 33, I play alot with coloring to get the acid trip vides based on the 60s, but it is more like I am going crazy with any art in the panels.
In episode 34, the rest, I work at a restaurant that has a slow day. I hid my tiny sketchbook and drew the line art, and it was hard at first, but since I know how to edit art from the iPad. Even when it's my days off, I finish this season on time, and still today, I work where the job market is not good, and this job I work now is just a necessity in my life. My comics are more important than that.
Highland WonderDrug is inspired by my artworks with experimental and colorful techniques, and since I love the 60s and the style, I do want to make Drug Angels. Along with Harmony Angels, since I love to listen to music, and Harvest Angels, since I love eating fruit. Adding music to this series was something not new to me since I did Marx Brothers: Let Lemons Lie for the first part of the series. The them of music and free will is that music is just something to be free from the dread and message about what the artist think and want to say, since the real world, rarely musicians do not have their own rights to sing their part but instead, cooperations would use them for cash-grabbing with the worst types of music nobody cannot bare. Melodyia is named after Meloletta from Pok茅mon, and her character as a trapped singer can teach people who were in a creative trap need to escape and be themselves to pursue their goals. Just like the same thing goes for actors and actresses, the inspiration for Muse's character was from Millennium Actresses, where the female main character sees acting and reality from a different point of view, and how she feels very out of place at the end. It feels like a new character in life when acting, and I grow to this as the philosophy between self vs self is just how Muse wants to escape the abuse and not so of his character. Later in season 1, it transitions from escaping the music and acting industry to killing famous singers.
The Orange Harvest Angels are inspired by The Jackson 5, where Orange is heavenly inspired by Ice Spice, Clementine is inspired by Clementine from TellTales Walking Dead. Manderain is inspired by Michael Jackson, Tangelo is inspired by any Lakers players, and Tangerine is inspired by Muhammad Ali. I do like having theme as part of the main cast for now and sadly will never be part of season 2 and three.
Glass Staineyes is inspired by Bob Dylan as he is poetic, but an Ender Demon who is just the most philosophical person ever.
Vivian is inspired by Cher since she has weird eyes and has a lot of style in the 70s. DreamCatcher is inspired by the idea of dreamcatchers and the many acid trips people went through back in their days.

I Want a Happy Life: A spinoff of Opposite of Human
To get it on the way, I want to write this comic series about seven unlucky individuals who want a happy and fulfilling life, but things do not go the way they wish and want to be. Each characters have seven other cast as seven dolls that become humans, befriend seven unlucky individuals who desire a better life.聽The dolls originally turned human after a wish, but refused to follow due to a lack of life.聽They then help and befriend the individuals to improve their lives. Each chapter or episode is going to take place in different characters' lives, and they must know how to make their life better or not. Seven characters who are not named: Genie: A bullied child who is raised by abu^^^^ parents and befriended a cat doll who taught her that life is just hurt from the start. Karen Killer: a bully who kills Karens for the sake of no entitlement in the human world and therefore wishes he want to live a happy life, until he meets a doll who teaches him about life that is just nothing but suffering. Rat/Toy: an unemployed young man who wishes he wanted to make money to move away from his tattletail "friends" but never gets the chance since he has been hurt and starved by his friends until he met a girl who changed his life. "Killing makes me happy." An employed young lady who wishes to have a respected work environment, more friends, and wishes she could spend her own time working on her art series, but her job as a casino security guard makes her want to give up her life. So bad it was going to be an end of the world until she meets a doll who volunteers in an orphanage and helps her find her way through life while fulfilling her artistic life. The idea of the name came from her hatred of customer service, Karens, and people never supporting her career, even though she hates her parents, who never support her ideas and goals. Jack the Ripper: He came from the past to recover his identity, but it never happened since nobody cares and wants the mystery of the unidentified man to be unknown, but he wants to tell everyone that he killed many women for the sake of his depression and insanity. But as his old friend, who is a doll no,w taught him a lesson on being an unknown is okay, Jack wants to do something new, like an adventure in 2025.
Video boy: a boy who makes videos for fun until he does not have a lot of views, but continues to make videos for the sake of his diary and journey throughout his life. A doll came forward to him, telling him to keep going while forming a decent friendship. Even when Video Boy isn't in his creative side, he is going through an existential crisis and mental illnesses from his rivals, family, and society.
A girl who really want love: a girl who is taking care of two grown men who refused to work and are raised like babies, as she wishes them to be like normal people and want to go to school A doll came forward this little girl and help her lead her way to success.
Please do not use my idea for your prompt or else this will be a problem, thank you.

My new series is coming soon, and it is called I Want a Happy Life. A spinoff of Opposite of Human and it is about seven unlucky people who wish their lives were successful and fulfilling until things aren't the way they want in their lives. I plan the idea of this mini series as it was inspired by my life after college and how difficult it was to cope with existential crisis, unemployment, a hard time making friends, and dealing with people's decisions over your own. It was horrible for me to move on, so bad I almost took my own ______. I was ashamed and disappointed in my life until I learn that this is just life itself. Suffer and suffer until you die. I want to introduce this spin-off of a series that takes a whole new look where the color blue is the theme throughout the comic series and the many dialogue of character talking about how life is just a thing of it's one and through my eyes as a writer who write comics for seven or eight years, I feel like college was a waste of time for ruining my success as a comic writer and artist, which I graduated college with a degree of Visual Arts and want to focus on working from art museums or galleries, which my whole idea was to work with artist and their profit while working at the front desk, drawing my comics during a slow day. I did not get my art career until 2025, and at first, I did not like it, but when I was working as a social media coordinator because my manager needed one for extra help, I felt like this was just a job for the art experience. Originally, I wanted to pursue children's books by painting, but when I got rejected and ghosted a lot, I was disappointed and depressed by it, so I want to publish my books on Kindle Direct Publishing, it does work, but I never got any profit, even when I promote it a lot online. Right now, I have a new job and it does not pay the bills but on a slow day, I quickly grab my mini sketchbook to draw for one minute and put it back, I am a host at a restaurant and it does take a whole life waiting for a customer but it's just a job, I don't brag about that much. I work there full time, making new friends, having a respected work environment (not so much) and working less-stress (I do get it if I'm alone).
Please note do not steal my ideas or this will be a problem, thank you.
