I just read a comment a fan made about Bloo: “his little blue brain just words differently,” and as a neurodivergent, it clicked. Bloo is so relatable to me in more ways than I care to admit, even at my age. I’d rather drink juice than water, bleh, I usually drink juice boxes, it’s hard for me to understand new concepts, I’m chaotic and free spirited, sarcastic and imaginative, I indulge in fantasy, I’m not exactly the smartest, I have a terrible attention span, I occasionally pronounce words wrong, I can be immature, I am strongly opinionated and blunt, I love to tell jokes and make others laugh, I’m easily offended and easily upset, I can’t drive for the life of me, aaaand the list goes on. A lot of traits Bloo has are child like but also have striking similarities to things I experience as a neurodivergent individual. Maybe it’s the reason I can relate to him in these ways. It’s likely why he’s my favourite character in the first place. That, and he cracks me up!

Slightly unrelated, but people don’t give Bloo enough of a chance, honestly. All they see is his poor attitude, when there are so many other traits that make up his character. He is a very complex IF.
