Apo on the Wall

How it made me feel:

It made me feel like shock to know that the meaning of poem is all about Marcos Regime, and i also feel i don’t have a freedom about on a poem if i were make myself live in his reign.

The message i got from it:

It made me realize that “Apo” or Ferdinand Marcos is a merciless dictator and a corrupt former president of the Philippines. No matter who or a person is, when he/she feels like he/she have everything like, power, authority, money, the whole country. He/she will abuse it to make him/her a powerful person in a country.

How it affects my appreciation of the past and the present:

I consider myself as a lucky person because i didn’t experience of those kind of that in part of our history. i appreciate that i am in the present, but if i were born in the past, maybe i am not here making a blog about on a poem. so yes, i appreciate being in this timeline, and i hope the history doesn’t repeat itself.
