Good shops and bad shops to lift at, some with reasons some without.
Good <3
1.Brandy Melville. Can walk out
2. Cotton on. Be careful though as some have buzzers/ heavy security
3, sasa. Few employees and many blind spots! Awesome makeup place
4. Marketplace. Easy alcohol access, can grab a drink and walk out easy
5. Starbucks. Pretty much free cups, be careful during busy hours though!!!
6. Taste. Certain isles don’t have cameras. Some have buzzers though! And security at entrance. Hold a receipt if you exit through the entrance
7. Book a zine. Easy but careful as they watch cameras the entire time. Blind spot in party section usually
8. 7 eleven. for more experienced lifters! Police will be called if caught more than once. lighters are easy though!
9. Living plaza. Barely any cameras, usually 3 employees. Some shops have buzzers
10. Any sketchy pharmacy should have a blind spot in a corner with stacked up boxes covering!
BAd places to get caught in :(
1. Nike. They will FIND YOU
2. 6ixty8ight employees watch you
3. Vans. Just don’t.
4. American eagle. Very very difficult, recommend only getting small items
5. Uniqlo. Seems easy but can go to prison if caught
6. Sephora. DANGER ZONE!!!!!!
7. Apple. Looks easy but will regret it
8. Any stationary shop. WILL NOT HESITATE TO SNITCH
9. Fortress. You have problems
10. Any designer. Very difficult here as they are only sold in designated designer stores. However lifting from ladies market is easy for counterfeit bags. Tips?
That’s all for now. As always happy lifting!

Lifting at Brandy Melville (specifically HK)
First of all, I would consider this an easy beginner shop. You just need the guts and it’s easy. There are currently 2 brandy Melville stores in hk ans I will talk about both of them
IFC BRANDY MELVILLE
Smaller than causeway bay one but always full so easy. There are two ways to go in this one
1. I was never here
The moment you go in pace around the store checking prices like a normal shopper, then grab a hoodie. VERY IMPORTANT!! After you grab a hoodie, grab some tops, jewellery and bags, put them in the hoodie. Try not to go for clothing with the hangers and go for the folded ones. If you’re alone, just walk out when the entrance is clear but the store is full. Nobody will suspect and think you are just holding a jacket. Head to the nearest public bathroom and put everything in your bag then. If you’re with a friend or two, this will be very helpful if you want a big haul. Fill one hoodie just like the last one, and pass it to your friend. Do this a few times until you are satisfied, however, remember to buy something if you do this as it is very sus to be in the store that long and not buy anything.
CAUSWAY BAY BRANDY MELVILLE
this one is bigger and newer. The line here is normally quite long so you have time before the employee sees. Walking out is a no go cause this one is not in a mall but in the middle of a street. Instead I recommend having a tote bag of some sort. Walk around and put some tank tops in here and there. DONT GO OVERBOARD THEY WILL CHECK YOUR BAG IF ITS TOO FULL. Just walk out with the bag if the store is busy. If not, switch the full bag with your friends bag and pay for a few jewellery items. Btw the blind spot is right in front of the display window so it’s risky! But people in hk usually don’t care enough to look into these types of displays so you should be good. I’ve personally lifted over $5000 hkd worth of brandy. Haul?
Happy lifting <3

Guys, these tips are all awesome. I’m a lifter in HK and here are some benefits and differences with American and British stores!
1. Door buzzers are VERY rare. Usually only in designer shops in high end malls. It is quite common to have hidden ceiling censors sometimes to be careful with that. Take the tag off if you feel insure
2 we RARELY have those bulky magnet thingies, usually just the old paper tags. They do have barcodes so be careful!
3. We don’t have dollar tree, Walmart, target etc, so it’s a lot harder to find a place to lift. My recommended places include cotton on, brandy Melville, sasa, decathlon (depends which one), any supermarket etc. Dangerous places you should never go to lift include any electronic store, Nike, MLB, Micheal kors, 6ixty8ight. Most of these shops will have employees follow you EVERYWHERE and will review footage/ create posters with your face. BEWARE
4. SEPHORA IS THE BIGGEST DANGER ZONE.
If you go to Sephora to lift, or as we say here, bonk, do it in a BIG GROUP or when there’s a lot of people. I’m America it’s may be easier with less people but here the more the merrier. Employees are everywhere so it would help a lot to get them all distracted. Instead of going to Sephora go to Sasa. No buzzers, less cameras, more blind spots and frankly more choices.
5. Be VERY careful. I’m America you might have getaway cars or places to Stacie your hauls, here it’s quite rare to have a private car as public transport is KEY. I would recommend always knowing locations of public bathrooms nearby and having a friend with an identical bag on standby just in case. Not that common to get chased here but they will print out the camera footage and post it in the window of the shop.
I will make a post about lifting from brandy Melville soon! Happy lifting <3
