RTV-1 Silicone Rubber
RTV-1 silicone is a condensed silicone rubber that is gradually cured from outside to inside by contacting with moisture in the air. RTV-1 silicone rubber / RTV 1 silicone rubber are used in bonding, sealing, encapsulating photovoltaic module components including photovoltaic frame, junction box and micro-inverter, power industry including circuit boards, electronic components, light emitting diode industry including lamp beads, lamp cap and light bar, home appliance including air conditioner, fridge, washing machine, and microwave oven, induction cooker, new energy vehicle including electronic component. GOLOHO RTV-1 silicone rubbers are designed to provide long-term bonding, sealing, encapsulating and protection against moisture, environmental degradation, mechanical and thermal shock, heat dissipation and vibration where a room-temperature-curing product is preferred.
When using RTV-1 silicone rubber, all surfaces must be clean and dry. Degrease and wash off any contaminants that could impair adhesion. Suitable solvents include isopropyl alcohol, acetone, or methyl ethyl ketone. Apply a bead of RTV-1 silicone rubber to one of the prepared surfaces, then quickly cover with the other substrate to be bonded. On exposure to moisture, the freshly applied material will “skin over” in about 10 to 15 minutes at room temperature and 50% relative humidity. Any tooling should be completed before this skin forms. The surface is easily tooled with spatula. GOLOHO chemical will be tack free in about 5 to 60 minutes. After skin formation, cure continues inward from the surface. In 24 hours (at room temperature and 50% relative humidity), GOLOHO RTV-1 silicone rubbers will cure to a depth of 2 to 3 mm. Very deep sections, especially when access to atmospheric moisture is restricted, will take longer to cure completely. Cure time is also extended at lower humidity levels. Before handing and packaging bonded components, users are advised to wait a sufficiently long time to ensure that the integrity of the adhesive seal is not affected. This will depend on many factors and should be determined by user for each specific application.

Description
GOLOHO-L220 is part of the range of transparent coating varnishes based on established modified alkyd chemistry. It is modified to be ideal for air driven spray applications without nozzle blocking. The performance of GOLOHO-L220 meets the latest requirements of electronics, low pin corrosion and fast curing at room temperature or oven cure conditions. RESISTANCE TO HARSH CONDITIONS OF GOLOHO-L220
Electronic components varnished with GOLOHO-L219 provide maximum resistance against contaminants such as moisture and dust many chemicals. It can withstand corrosive gas atmosphere, weak acid fuels, oils, glycols and many other fluids used in automotive and shipping industry.
GOLOHO-L219 can survive temperature shock and temperature cycling resistance such as -40 to +130°C for several cycles. The cured coating retains good adhesion but remains flexible to withstand distortion of the PCB (Mandrel bend test)
PROCESSING OF GOLOHO-L220
The coating varnish GOLOHO-L219 is optimized for mass production robotic application on equipment systems where the spray is controlled by air flow or similar equipment. This coating minimizes the risk of blocking of the nozzle by slight reduction of evaporation of the solvent and reducing curing. It can also be used for dipping if the viscosity is suited to the PCB or component to be coated. GOLOHO-L219 is flammable and good ventilation is important in all processing areas. In order to achieve satisfactory wetting and fault-free adhesion of the coating varnish it is important to ensure compatibility with the applied solder resist, paste and flux.
CURING OF GOLOHO-L220
For batch Curing: Air curing at 23°C for 16h , Accelerated curing 80°C/15min
Very short cure times of about 10 minutes can be achieved with the correct temperature profile in a well regulated in-line oven. Caution is needed to limit the rate of temperature increase to avoid bubbles in the coating. Guidance on curing profiles is available on request.

Adhesive to Electronic, electric equipment, metal products etc. Esp. the RTV flowable silicones rubber(such as 39011 series ), when difficulty in curing, 4326 can cure to elastomer immediately upon heating in a short time.
Dry and degrease all surfaces, wash off any contaminant that could impair adhesion. Solvents includes isopropanol alcohol. acetone and butanone.
Primerless adhesion to most material such as metal ,engineering plastic etc.
