We all know that Media and knowledge Literacy rely upon information to work optimally. It's going to be information from other persons, the media, libraries, archives, or other information providers including those on the online. Some people don't have enough knowlegde about some information. Media and Information Literacy (MIL) helps and provides us answers to the questions that we all can't answer by ourselves. It becomes an important tool in modern communication and also the digital age has made it easy for anyone to form media. This makes media literacy tricky to be told and teach. Nonetheless, media literacy is a vital skill within the digital age.

🎀  What is New Media??? 🎀 

(っ◔◡◔)っ   It means of mass communication using digital technologies such as the internet. Contents are organized and distributed on digital platforms. New media are forms of media that are computational and rely on computers for redistribution. Some examples of new media are computer animations, computer games, human-computer interfaces, interactive computer installations, websites, and virtual worlds.

CYBERBULLYING

Bullying is used to humiliate, threaten, oppress, torment, and tyrannize someone using electronic means. It can be defined as a continuous misuse of power or authority against a person or a group of people that causes physical, emotional, and social harm to that person or group.

The effects of cyberbullying are similar to the effects of bullying, but the main differences is that it's much harder to avoid, because it can follow your teen home from school and make them feel like they'll never be able to escape it.

The Evolution of Media through Ages

The 20th century was witness to the birth of what is arguably the most popular device in the history of mankind: the television. TV is a communications technology that has revolutionized the delivery of information, entertainment and artistic expression to the masses. More recently, we have all witnessed (and participated in) the birth of the Internet, a technology whose potential makes TV pale into insignificance in comparison (although, it seems, TV isn't leaving us anytime soon). These are fast-paced and momentous times we live in. I thought now would be a good opportunity to take a journey back through the ages, and to explore the forms of (and devices for) media and communication throughout human history.  

✨Pre-Industrial Age (Before 1700's)

In this age, People had learned or discovered fire, developed paper from plants, and forged weapons and tools with stone, bronze, copper and iron.

✨Industrial Age (1700s-1930s)

This is were people discovered the used of power steam, developed machine tools, established iron production, and the manufacturing of various products (including books through the printing press)

✨ Electronic Age (1930s-1980s)

In this age, People invented the transistor ushered in the electronic age. People harnessed the power of transistors that led to the transistor radio, electronic circuits, and the early computers. In this age, long distance communication became more efficient.

✨ Information Age (1900s-2000s)

This is were the Internet paved the way for faster communication and the creation of the social network. People advanced the use of microelectronics with the invention of personal computers, mobile devices, and wearable technology. Moreover, voice, image, sound and data are digitalized. We are now living in the information age.

Normal 18 years old teenager who loves listening to music and looking at the city lights since she was little. I used to play taekwondo when I was in elementary but then I stopped. I really like planting fruit-bearing plants and flowering plants since I grew up near my grandparents who lives in a field. I may looked like a socially active person but to be honest I'm not. I'm actually a shy person and hates being in a crowded place. But hey! I can be that person who you can talk to whenever you have problems or if you need help, I'm willing to help you.✨
