Visiting a camp that has a glass studio craft activity. So I decided to make Nyanko-sensei from Natsume Yuujinchou!

This is the piece before it goes in the kiln and melts/fuses. So I expect it to look different when it is finished. Cut glass for Nyanko, his shadow, and the sun. Dots of glass for the clouds. Strings of grass for the grass. And crushed glass for the ground and sky.

Shout out to my partner for all of their help, I was running short on time and they helped me place the clouds and get the peice done in time to make it to the kiln. 💖

Long story super short:

Today (during lunch on June 22nd, 2025),

My bio mother explicitly told me that I should ~seriously~ consider freezing my egg cells now for my ~future~ pregnancy. Even if I already made it clear before that I absolutely don't want to give birth (not even want to get married), like a few months ago.

My bio father basically agrees with my mother, even if he pretends to hold her back and respect my choice; it's rather him feeling ~forced~ to give up and quietly blaming me, waiting for ~me~ to ~finally see the reality~ and ~change my mind~.

All this "conversation" in front of my bio older brother, who sexually assaulted me multiple times with no atonement (long explanation or short one). Well, at least he (surprisingly) didn't say any BS out loud this time, though of course he didn't particularly defend me, either.

It's even "funnier" when both my parents literally told my aunt in front of me that they can no longer casually push people to raise a kid in this hard era, like two weeks ago. Moreover, this kind of contradiction happened 2nd time somehow this year (the 1st one was about marriage).

Homework felt like a shared adventure, not a chore, and the hum of the TV, with its clunky antenna, was the soundtrack of peaceful evenings.

Neighbors were more like extended family, and safety was so deeply felt that locked doors were almost an afterthought—only discovered to be broken the day we were leaving town.

This is more than a building; it is a memory made of warmth, innocence, and the quiet magic of being home.
