Intermittent fasting
So I read a book called 'the Obesity Code' this week. It basically is medically/data backed book on why fasting works to lose weight. Being overweight is an insulin problem. So to combat it, fasting helps lower your basal insulin levels. So today I am fasting for 24 hrs. I will eat dinner. That's it. No snacks as they raise Insulin levels.

Xylitol and stevia are natural sweetener
[Request]Please help me find or design a cheesecake recipe I want it to be based on creme fraiche and mascarpone, possibly with a little Neufchatel. I plan on using an almond crust, and possibly frozen strawberries.Here’s the thing, though: I don’t want to use any artificial sweeteners.I know it won’t be sweet. I don’t have a sweet tooth, so just the frozen strawberries will probably be enough sweetness for me. I’m making this as a meal, not a dessert. I just don’t want it to be bland.I’ve got a bag of almond slices with 10 servings of 6g carbs each. The package of strawberries has 2 servings of 13g carbs each. The Neufchatel has 3g to the package. I’m not planning on eating a whole cheesecake in a day by myself, so the carbs can go as high as maybe 60 or 80. I would prefer not to have more than 10g carbs per slice.Any suggestions or ideas?Thanks in advance!
