and so pakistan was not meeting her gaze, looking at her wounds as if they were the most interesting thing to exist.

india sighed deeply as she adjusted her pallu. pakistan was wearing a dark green color saree which complimented her eyes. pakistan always looked beautiful. she looked like the moon.

should one ask pakistan about india's beauty, she would say that india shined like the sun.

not only did they look like the sun and the moon, they were the personification of the sun and the moon. they complimented each other and were beautiful on their own. but they could never exist together in the same sky.
