okay, i’m in the middle of doing replies but i’m having a seriously bad migraine at the moment, so i’m going to close my laptop and sleep, cause it won’t go away any time soon. i’ll finish everything in the morning and queue it up, promise.

“I wish I could give you a simple answer as to how you or any of us got here, but unfortunately no one really knows. We just sort of..appear. I’m Annie and this is Oliver. Do you need any Food or Water?”

                     ❛ this is crazy. this is absolutely insane. one minute, i’m dying, putting a baby in the world, and the next i’m here. god --- this is messed up. nice to meet ya’, i’m lori. ---- probably some water, i don’t think i could stomach any food at the moment. ❜

CARL.

Carl sniffed and sighed, closing his eyes tightly and relishing in his mother’s hug….something he thought would never, ever happen again. He felt the tears slowly run down his cheeks, and his face grow hot and when she pulled away he immediately wiped his tears and smiled at her. 

“Yeah, yeah um….dad, dad’s back home and alive, but…he. he might show up soon um….I’m fifteen now, it’s been nearly a years since…..and um, Judith, the baby she’s here too….I named her Judith. I’m so glad you’re here.” He replied with a small smile. “ Are you ok? What..what’s the last thing you remember?’

                 it should probably be too much for lori to handle, but at that current point, the brunette was more than relieved. seeing carl was a relief. hearing that rick was alive, that he was alright, was definitely more than a relief. her own hand lifted up to wipe her own tears away from her cheeks, a soft chuckle escaping her throat. the mention of judith, her daughter, nearly caused tears to brim back in her eyes. ❛ judith --- it’s a nice name, honey. is she alright ??  ❜ another chuckle escaped her throat while she forced her breathing to steady, trying to fix her composure.  ❛ i’m fine, really. considering ---- the last thing i remembered was giving birth to judith, dying to save her. ❜

SHANE.

It felt all too dreamlike.  They were both here - in a place without walkers, and no other dangers had been found yet. For a moment, Shane thought about Rick’s whereabouts  - if Lori was here, her husband, and his former brother, must be here, too. That deeply concerned him, but just like with his other negative thoughts, he wiped it from his mind and instead focused on her again. Shane matched Lori’s step, taking one of his own towards her, but his was filled with certitude. Even though he was not yet close enough to hold her - hug her, he was content. He was close enough to be able to see all of the details on her face, and this made his hard, cold eyes go soft. When she said his name, even if it was in a questioning manner - his tensed shoulders relaxed and what seemed to be a hint of a smile made its way across Shane’s mouth. “What are you doing here??”

                     how was this happening. how was any of this happening, really ?? it was all surreal, almost as if she’d wake up and she’d be back to being at the farm, or even before the apocalypse happened. no zombies, rick alive, their family back to normal, without an ounce of drama. truthfully, sometimes, lori had wished for that to happen, so nothing would have changed and everything would’ve stayed the same. ❛ i could ask you the same. ❜ taking in several breaths, as if to control herself, to keep herself steady on her legs, and with a little encouragement, and the known fact that somehow being alive again might be a good think, lori wrapped her arms around shane’s neck and hugged him.  ❛ it’s good to see ya ---- and alive. ❜

FRANCIS.

              he doesn’t care for the question, doesn’t care for her. or, he’s trying not to, because it’s not something appealing, caring for someone even the slightest bit then losing them. she sounds distressed and francis supposes that’s what caught his attention, it’s a natural reaction, anyone would be drawn to it. most people wouldn’t have it in them to leave it be, and he wishes he could say he wasn’t most people, but —  ❛ stonefield, in the united kingdom. ❜ he’s expecting the question of how to follow, he’s already got a headache just thinking about it. he doesn’t like things he can’t understand, and he does’t like being expected to ease someone’s nerves; he’s no good at it. ❛ ‘m francis. d’you need help up? ❜ 

                 eyes look up at the voice, every new voice that filled her ears startled her. she was more than used to hearing groaning and the rattling of fences in the otherwise silent prison grounds. ❛ oh ---- shit ---- my husband, friends ----- ❜ head spinning again, the brunette tried to straighten herself as best as she could, without much success really. at his question, lori reluctantly nodded her head.  ❛ lori, and ----- yeah, thanks. ❜ truthfully, she should be reluctant in taking someone’s help, even if it was just to get up, but she was more than disorientated at that point, even if it was just getting used to being alive, and to not be pregnant or shooting bullets to save her life or someone else’s.

                     how was she supposed to relax ?? the words rang in her ears, repeating continuously until she somewhat understood. lips pressing together, the former pregnant woman let a sigh escape her throat eventually, fingers pushing through brown locks. ❛ easier said than done. ❜ the words were muttered underneath her breath, eyes looking up at the sky for a second. it was like lori to have some sort of panic attack ( or whatever the hell it was ), but a new environment without walkers would do that to someone if they’d spend months ( if not years ) running from and fighting against them.
