-> Shiro is an RA and Lance relentlessly accuses Keith of being a nepo baby as far as surprise dorm checks go, despite that having no foundation as Shiro gets on Keith the most

-> Hunk and Lance become friend because Lance keeps burning food whenever he tries to cook and it’s killing Hunk inside so he teaches Lance how to make a decent pancake

-> Lance and Pidge game (usually FPS) late into the night in the common room and everyone gets on them about leaving junk food wrappers everywhere but eventually it becomes A Thing. The whole gang does competitive game nights once a week. Lance and Keith have a hardcore MarioKart rivalry. Hunk and Allura ignore them for Animal Crossing while Romelle and Pudge blow up Shiro’s house in Minecraft

-> Lance vandalizes the doors to everyone’s room with sticky notes. Sometimes they’re sweet, sometimes just a stupid joke, sometimes a little doodle

-> Keith gets banned from the microwave after he leaves a metal spoon in there for 2 minutes. He has to get Pidge to heat his food up for him when Shiro’s not around

-> Pidge starts a tiktok groupchat where they share really bad memes that no one responds to. They persist anyways out of love of the game

-> Shiro develops eye bags two weeks into the quarter. Keith and Pidge make fun of him for it

-> Allura subtly room sprays the common areas whenever she can. She refuses to clean up after anyone but she won’t curse herself with the smell of molding Taco Bell coming from Pidge and Keith’s room

AND in that queer mlm media the ships don't even have to be CANON!!! they casually just have male ships saying the most yearning and devastatingly beautiful lines with complete devotion (rly shouting out jayvik here) and when they are canon it's so much stronger but canon wlw ships? we get nothing 😞

it's so easy for mainstream media to let mlm ships have all of the good parts of being queer and then give them maybe two struggles overall about their queerness, when in turn wlw ships struggle the entire time for a short epilogue of happiness, and then usually right back to struggle. we get representation for all of the devastation of queerness, we see the ostracization we experience, the internal debates, the wishing for things to be easier, but get so much less of the celebration

how come queer media with men is all “in all possibilities only you..” and “Farewell, my one and only friend.” and “he’s like.. the future” and other devastating lines 😭😭 AND THEN QUEER MEDIA WITH WOMEN IS LIKE

yes it absolutely is! it's my second favorite queen song (the first one being under pressure, extra points because my main blog @rocknrollinbitchforu is a reference to a david bowie song) because queen and bowie are some of my absolute favorite artists (and bisexuals, if u include lance) of all time!!
