I don’t want to be negative, because I was the BIGGEST byler shipper in the world and I still want to be, but all my love and passion for byler has started to fade since Noah Schnapp’s…behaviour. I don’t support him at all and it makes me so sad that he has acted this way because I used to love him and Will Byers. I still love Will because he’s a fictional character but it’s just not the same. I know y’all don’t want to see posts about N*ah in the byler tag but I wanted to say goodbye. It feels wrong to root for byler now, especially since its confirmed they aren’t recasting Will. I had a lot of fun in this fandom with all the gates. Farewell! "Will being accepted is his happy ending" no. fuck. that. queer people not being hated by their family and friends is not a prize it's the BARE MINIMUM it's something that every queer person DESERVES. The fact that some people call Will a crybaby baffles me. Like how are you going to sit there and watch everything this poor boy has been through and call him a crybaby? He has been bullied, felt forgotten/ unimportant, he feels like a mistake, he thinks that he will never find love because of his sexuality, has been verbally abused by his own dad, oh and you know he was KIDNAPPED AND DRAGGED TO ANOTHER DIMENSION AND WAS HUNTED BY MONSTERS and even after he left the the upside down he was still haunted by some monster dude who has beef with his sister. On top of that he is in love with his best friend who just so happens to be dating his sister. Every person who has said that Will is a crybaby has the emotional intelligence and depth of a rock.
