People on Tumblr: Just because they’re making it an adult show doesn’t mean it’s going to be sexually explicit/suggestive, or gorey, or anything! It’s probably just going to deal with darker themes the original show couldn’t, that’s all.

whenever i don't get to ride my silly horse i think about hiccup and how that same ache translates to when he cant ride toothless

maybe he too gets stir crazy and itches to feel the familiar leather thats become molded to his body

the way every lean move of his muscles translates to a bigger movement beneath him, how it feels to find your balance when you first get on

the warm skin that reacts to the slightest touch

to trust the animal you have bonded with to make decisions with you, for you. to know that they don't want to run into walls and fall anymore then you. and to learn to respect one another

when you learn to ready body language, that every twitch of a muscle and snort of a snout means something

and that after a while no one knows one another better

(and how it will never be satisfied again. not in the same way, for it wont ever be the same)

Ive been wanting to draw them for ages, i just thought that i didnt have the skill to do so. My first and second attempt at drawing Hiccup and Astrid, respectively. ⚒️💥🐲 messed up with Hiccup's eyes xdd

can you believe hiccup and toothless soulbonded so hard, they complete each other. that they are two halves of the same whole. toothless is hiccup’s wings and hiccup is toothless’ tail, and they need each other to fly — but more than that, they need each other to be, to exist as fully as they were meant to. on their own, they’re capable, yes, but always incomplete — always missing something vital. it’s only when they’re together that everything clicks into place and matters and makes everything worth it.
