Who Is Louise Linton and Why People Slam Her Over Pantless Photo?

Who Is Louise Linton and Why People Slam Her Over Pantless Photo?
People all around the web have been talking about Louise Linton and they mostly diss her. The Scottish actress, who has appeared in films like 2016’s “” remake, is slammed for posing in just sweater without pants for magazine.
While the photo seems innocent as it’s not that racy or provocative enough to spark debate, many are roasting her on social media. This apparently draws back to Linton’s image as the wife to Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin who has been constantly flaunting her wealth, even at government functions.
You’d think with all the money she and her husband make, Louise Linton would be able to afford some pants… pic.twitter.com/o7QbaDXj1r
— Tim Young (@TimRunsHisMouth) February 13, 2018
Linton’s interview with the magazine in which she tries to rehab her image and prove that she is totally relatable doesn’t help either. Following the release of her sexy photo on the magazine, one Internet user dubs her “Marie Antoinette without pants.”
“You’d think with all the money she and her husband make, Louise Linton would be able to afford some pants…,” another comments on Twitter. “Was going to curl up with a cup of tea and read that article about Louise Linton but decided to rip out my eyeballs and eat them instead,” reads another comment.
Another anti-fan tweets, “I don’t know for SURE but I really get the feeling I’m not the only one in this yoga class meditating on the idea of throwing raw chicken cutlets at Louise Linton.” One other sarcastically writes, “Oh dear God Louise Linton is trending again. Someone check on the puppies and orphans.”
In a wide-ranging interview with Elle, Linton apologizes for her Instagram rant in August 2017. She, at the time, hit back at another Instagram user who criticized a post she made last year that touted her affluence and designer clothing.
“I was so stupid,” she says about the post which has since been deleted. She adds of herself, “I think after being kicked and slapped on social media a billion times, I had this one time. This lady said I was a deplorable human being, and that hurt.”
Explaining her angry response to the critic at the time, she claims, “So I had this knee-jerk reaction and I was like…blarghhhh. I was feeling like a regular person. And regular people, when someone says something mean to you on social media, regular people are allowed to respond. I felt like the kid on the playground that has been so bullied, and finally you punch back.”

'The Bachelor Winter Games' Season 1, Episode 1 Recap: Let the Games Begin
New Post has been published on http://gossip.network/the-bachelor-winter-games-season-1-episode-1-recap-let-the-games-begin/
'The Bachelor Winter Games' Season 1, Episode 1 Recap: Let the Games Begin
Tumblr media
This week I was presented with a tough decision: Should I keep up with the 2018 Winter Olympics or spend my time watching the 2018 Bachelor Winter Games? And no, it can’t be both—I need some semblance of a life, people. While the Olympics provides sexy skate tangos, Adam Rippon butt theories, and Chloe Kim’s hangry tweets—all delightful, to be sure—Bachelor Winter Games promises “The Canadian Ben Higgins” and Ashley Iaconetti’s mascara-stained tears. Guess which one I went with. Spoilers ahead, obviously.
The show’s intro tells us this will be “a global celebration of unity and love” but something tells me “a Vermont-based gathering of drama and lust” would be more accurate. I didn’t know what to expect going into this, but the teaser of what’s to come is certainly intriguing: There’s shots of Ashley weeping, of course, but also Luke Pell in low-cut spandex and some guy named Kevin who is being called “The Canadian Ben Higgins” even though the real Ben Higgins is also there. Will there be a fight to see who can stay? There can only be one!
If it comes to that, Canadian Ben Higgins might win because Real Ben Higgins seems very sad. He’s drinking cups of hot chocolate and wandering around alone in the snow. After his breakup with Lauren, his heart has frozen over because metaphors.
Bibiana (from Arie’s season) is also here, and she’s skating around in a one-piece with a cozy sweater and living her best life.
“I wasn’t crazy all the time. I just had one moment.” – Bibiana
Dean (from Rachel’s season and Bachelor in Paradise) gets an intro that feels very “boy band member audition tape.” We’re reminded that he was shady on BiP, but he promises he’s really a “good guy” who just made “questionable decisions.” That’s what they ALL say, Dean. He frets over whether he should make ramen or spaghetti, but eventually chooses spaghetti with great gravitas—signaling that he’s ready to make mature decisions now, I guess. Or maybe he just prefers spaghetti, who knows.
Now we catch up with Clare. You’ll remember her from that one time she told Juan Pablo off (“I would never want my children having a father like you!”) and the many many times she cried during Bachelor in Paradise. After those bad experiences, she swore she was retiring from the show…only to magically discover the Winter Games Loophole. Apparently, this is an alternate dimension where the choices you make after one too many margaritas don’t count.
Next up is Josiah, the lawyer from Rachel’s season of The Bachelorette. He swears he won’t be a jerk this time, foreshadowing an edit of all the times he behaves like a jerk this time.
Lesley from Sean Lowe’s Bachelor season is here too, but I have to admit: I watched that rotation and don’t remember her. Maybe one of the many Laurens took her spot in my memory bank? In her intro, Lesley reveals she tested positive for the BRCA2 gene, so she got a double mastectomy eight months ago. She hasn’t been with anybody since, but her new boobs “look great” and she’s ready for love. I genuinely hope she finds it!
“Heyyyyyy, I’m Ashley I.,” I hear, both from the TV and in my nightmares. “I have a big reputation for being dramatic”—an understatement—”[Also] being heartbroken. Crying. I’m going to be the opposite,” she promises. I’ve always appreciated Ashley’s self-awareness, so her claims that she’s ready to change rub me the wrong way. Just embrace yourself! You are a person who FEELS EVERYTHING SO MUCH. It’s who you are. Anyway, a psychic told Ashley she’s going to meet her husband on an international journey and this McMansion in Vermont filled with Canadians still applies. We then get a hilarious montage of Ashley trying to ski in the dirt of Los Angeles, and I’m reminded how funny this show can be. (Just don’t tell Chris Harrison or we’ll get 1,000 more scenes like that until the joke is dug into the ground.)
“Later: Winter tears are coming.” – OK, that’s pretty good.
Now that we’ve been re-introduced to some of the U.S. contestants, Chris Harrison reveals he has a co-announcer named, I am not joking, Hannah Storm. Is she a plucky Disney Channel character? Oh, she’s an actual legit sports television journalist and, as Harrison says, “legend?” My apologies! I don’t watch sports—unless it involves desperate Bachelor contestants of course—so this explains (but does not excuse) why I thought she was a fake. They also got reporter Ashley Brewer for this and I gotta say, I wouldn’t mind adding these women to the regular Bachelor franchise. Imagine a reporter live on the scene during a group date hot tub outing. So good, right?
Back to Winter Games: There’s a parade, and they’ve carted in tens of extras, a bored-looking marching band, a moose mascot, and an old-timey fire engine that says “Dial 9-1-1” on the side, probably because if you have a fire emergency you should call 9-1-1 and not rely on this clunker. It’s quite the scene.
“Luke, obviously some people thought he was going to be The Bachelor and it didn’t work out,” – Chris Harrison is secretly shady.
Now it’s time to introduce the international teams. This shouldn’t be problematic at all….oh look, there’s Japan being represented by a man in a Ninja costume. We’re introduced to Yuki, who was in the top five of Bachelor Japan. She watched the American Bachelor on YouTube, so these are the English words she knows: “Thank you,” “OK,” “Hello,” Goodbye,” “I love you,” and “Will you marry me?” Honestly, with some of these dudes that’s enough to communicate.
Moving on: Here comes two Canadian guys, represented by that moose mascot. Kevin, a.k.a. Canadian Ben Higgins, got engaged six months ago on The Bachelor Canada. We don’t get to know the other guy, but Google tells me his name is Benoit. Ooh la la, French Canadian?
Zoe from China is led by a group of white people in a Chinese dragon costume, so there’s that. We learn that on Bachelor China there was only ONE kiss the entire season. Can you imagine what life would be like if Arie spared us from his kissing bandit shenanigans? What luxury.
Laura from Bachelor United Kingdom is here, and Chris Harrison describes her as “very quirky” because she flipped the Bachelor off when she was eliminated. Love that. She’s already my favorite. “I don’t know why more people don’t do that,” Chris wonders. Yeah! Why don’t they?!
From Australia, we meet Tiffany and Courtney. Tiffany is the one who made a love connection with one of the other female contestants during her season and again I ask: Why hasn’t this happened before? Courtney, meanwhile, was on The Bachelorette and made it all the way to the final four before being sent home…to…the…outback? Sorry, had to.
Now we meet team Sweden, which is led by, what else, a viking in a bad Anne of Green Gables wig. Rebecca and Nastassia (Stassi) are blonde and beautiful, and the guys basically do that cartoon BOING-ING-ING-ING when they see them.
When we return from the commercial break, Chris Harrison informs us it’s no longer Bachelor Nation, it’s Bachelor World. So progressive.
Team Finland is represented by a reindeer, elves, and Santa because sure. Jenny says she wants a “Ryan Reynolds lookalike.” Don’t we all, Jenny, don’t we all.
Next up, New Zealand: Lily is here to “stir things up” because she “curses a lot.” Ally has a sloth tattooed on her behind, which is awesome.
Germany and Switzerland are represented by Christian, who was on both shows. Wait, so you can just change countries now?
Now that everyone’s arrived, Fionnuala Cree (what a name) sings the “Bachelor Winter Anthem.” “We want to see this through” is the main lyric, which just feels very anti-climatic. Like, that’s all you aspire to? Not even one rose pun? And, of course, Trista and Ryan are here. I’m pretty sure they have a Bachelor bat signal that alerts them whenever Chris Harrison whispers “rose ceremony.” “No other couple really embodies what this is all about,” Harrison says. I suppose that’s true considering they’re one of like three successful couples from this franchise. Christian, however, doesn’t know who they are, which is a fun little moment the editors kept in.
Somebody named Ruthie Collins performs, and then it’s time for everyone to head to their new digs. After picking their beds, they gather to have a drink and eye the competition. Benoit gives a toast in French, and all the women do that cartoon BOING-ING-ING thing. Then Chris Harrison sneaks in to explain the rules: The men will compete against the men, the women will compete against the women. Whoever wins each challenge gets a date card to take whoever they want out. There will be rose ceremonies, and some people will be leaving. At the end, they’ll crown two champions to be the first couple of Bachelor World.
Once Harrison leaves, everyone starts sizing each other up and pairing off. Lesley is into Dean. Bibiana is into Kevin. But of course Ashley is also into Kevin. Ally and Josiah start flirting and almost instantly start kissing. She describes it as “a real cheeky little snog,” which is one way you could describe that. The German guy just watches them from the other room. Not creepy at all…
The next day it’s time for the first game. The challenge: cross-country skiing, shooting at rose targets, and racing over a finish line. Ashley’s concerned that Kevin is spending more time with Bibiana because her skin is so dehydrated from the cold. My heart shivers.
Tumblr media

Josiah’s hoping to score a date with Ally, but she falls on her “ass bone” right away, eliminating her from the competition. At least it gives Josiah a chance to swoop in with hugs and a kiss to cheer her up.
The guys are up first, and Benoit does a little trash talking. That seems fair—he is Canadian, so I assume he’s more skilled at winter sports what with all that Canadian snow available to him. Compare that to Josiah, who admits this is only the second time he’s seen it. Re: the competition, not that much happens so just know that Ben, Luke, and Benoit are moving on to the finals. In the second qualifier, Dean won.
As for the women, Stassi wins the first qualifier and Rebecca wins the second. Yuki thinks she won, though, and I vote they just give it to her. In the women’s finals, it’s Lily, Jenny, Rebecca, Lesley, and Bibiana all up for the date card. A screen of Bibi’s stats come up to tell us she’s “Livin La Vida Loca.” They describe Lesley as “Blonde Ambition.” We don’t see Rebecca’s stats but she wins by a landslide.
On to the men’s final: It’s Kevin, Luke, Christian, Benoit, Ben, and Dean. Dean’s stat says, simply, “undecided.” Poetic? Better than Kevin’s, which informs us he’s “Seen Nickleback 27 times.” And this is the man we’re all fighting over? Despite his taste in music, he wins the date card and almost immediately Ashley’s eyes light up. She’s fully aware that he has a connection with Bibi, but she’s not giving up just yet. Ashely, do you know he’s seen Nickelback 27 times? That might ease the pain when he inevitably chooses Bibi for the date.
Back at the manse, Bibi gushes about how hot Kevin is. I mean, if you’re trapped on a mountain with no other options, sure. Apparently earlier that morning she creeped on him when he was walking through the house without a shirt on. “I never have felt that in my life,” she says. What, a lady boner?
During his conversation with Bibiana, Kevin reveals he used to be a ski instructor. HOLD UP. This game is rigged! How does anyone else stand a chance at a competition based on winter sports against a ski instructor? Also, why is the Nickelback fact in his stats instead of this hyper-relevant information?
Finally, we are treated to a scene in which Ashley and Kevin finally have a face-to-face human interaction. We learn they had a great talk the night before, so, OK, I will give Ashley more credit that this isn’t entirely in her head. She flirts by telling him he looks like Tom Brady meets James Marsden. “I’m not very good at throwing a football,” he replies.
“If you know me, I zone in on one person.” – Ashley. Oh, we know you.
Ultimately, Kevin asks Bibiana out. They barely have time to celebrate their love before we cut to Ashley crying in a confessional. She recognizes this “pattern” of being friend-zoned, and I implore her to find a way to break out of that. Maybe don’t go on this show anymore? Just a suggestion. She bravely hides her tears from Kevin and Bibiana, who are happily leaving in their best date sweaters.
Meanwhile, apparently Rebecca invited Luke out. Their date involves sitting cozy by a fire, then sitting freezing under blankets while they watch fireworks. They make out. Bibi and Kevin also make out on their date.
Meanwhile at the house, Lesley and Dean talk about boobs and Benoit cooks dinner. Clare looks at him, not the food, like a tasty snack. Same! “Oregano, garlic powder,” he purrs. She’s overly impressed that he’s able to remove a yolk from an egg. But then! We see him in a scene with his glasses on and hellooooooo. Why are we all sweating over Kevin? There is a hot ass French Canadian wearing glasses and cooking eggs. Ashley, use your eyes!
“Ah-ha-ha-ha!” – Clare, fake giggling and touching her hair while Benoit cooks.
Benoit’s into Clare, too, but then she makes a joke that she’s not drinking because she’s pregnant and uses this as an excuse to lift her shirt up a little bit. Oh no. Is this how people look when they’re flirting? My God. It works, though, because suddenly they’re making out in the kitchen while people scream in the background. They move to the fireside to talk about the kiss, which seems strange at first until I remember that producers are likely involved. Clare tells Benoit to wear his glasses more often, and I appreciate her looking out for us with this suggestion. He’s what I’d like to call poutine, a Canadian-but-French-sounding snack.
Tumblr media

He pulls her closer, and I find myself saying, “Oooh!” like a mom watching Fifty Shades Freed. They kiss again. I’m jealous and so is Christian, who watches them, creepily, from the other room. He’s worried about his status because Lesley and Dean are making out, Ally and Josiah are making out, and Courtney and Lily are making out. Who will make out with Christian?
“I’m really, uh, sad for this one.” – Christian
The next day, everyone’s putting on their best duds for the rose ceremony and wondering who will pick them. Yuki straight-up asks Dean to give her a rose, and it’s very charming. Do it Dean!
But then Chris Harrison stalks in to drop some news: Tonight three women and two men will be voted off, Survivor style. Luckily, they have a cocktail party that’ll give them one last chance to plead their case to the others. Everyone panics. Josiah seems to be in danger—for some reason, even though he’s super into Ally, people are questioning his intentions. Ashley’s nervous because she hasn’t talked to other guys much because she’s been so laser focus on Kevin. Clare confronts Christian because she heard he was going to vote her off—but, no, he actually thinks she’s the most beautiful woman here. You instantly see the light switch go off for her, and she moves straight into flirt mode. And so a love triangle is born.
Once everyone’s voted, the rose ceremony begins. I appreciate Chris Harrison asking Rebecca and Kevin to hand out the roses rather than doing it awkwardly himself. At one point, they give a rose to some man named Michael. Who is Michael? Where has he been all episode? Did he just crawl out from under a faux fur blanket? He’s here to stay, I guess, because the final roses are handed out and Jamey, Eric, Zoe, Lauren, and Laura say their goodbyes.
See you Thursday for more drama!

Helmet, Prong Set Co-Headlining Tour
Helmet and Prong will hit the road this May for a co-headlining tour, a trek nearly 30 years in the making for the two Nineties rock acts that launched their careers at New York’s CBGB’s.
The tour begins May 3rd in Atlanta and crisscrosses the U.S. – including a May 23rd hometown show at New York’s Highline Ballroom – before concluding May 26th at Baltimore’s Maryland Deathfest.

The circle is now complete,” Prong’s Tommy Victor said in a statement. “From the years of crafting groundbreaking riffage and rhythmical carnage on New York’s Lower East Side, to now, the entities still standing that drafted a generation of sonic assault are about to collide. And getting to share a stage with [Helmet’s] Page Hamilton, one of the most influential masters in existence, is an honor for me personally. Absolutely perfect.”
Helmet’s Hamilton credits Victor – who served as a soundman at CBGBs in the late Eighties – with helping the Meantime band secure a residency at the famed rock venue. “We will be forever indebted to Prong and couldn’t be happier to have an NYC reunion tour coming up,” Hamilton said in a statement. In 2017, Helmet’s Meantime was named one of Rolling Stone‘s 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time.

Ryan Murphy Moves to Netflix: What Happens to His Current Shows at Fox and FX?
New Post has been published on http://gossip.network/ryan-murphy-moves-to-netflix-what-happens-to-his-current-shows-at-fox-and-fx/
Ryan Murphy Moves to Netflix: What Happens to His Current Shows at Fox and FX?
Another major TV producer is making the move to Netflix.
Ryan Murphy just signed a major deal with the streaming giant to produce shows only for them for the next five years, starting in July 2018. While that means that any future new Ryan Murphy shows will be produced for Netflix, it does not mean that we necessarily have to say goodbye to any of Murphy’s current series on FX and Fox.
As with Shonda Rhimes—who announced her similar new deal with Netflix almost exactly six months ago—all of the Ryan Murphy shows currently on the air and in the planning stages will still continue on their original networks.
“The history of this moment is not lost on me,” Murphy said in a statement. “I am a gay kid from Indiana who moved to Hollywood in 1989 with $55 dollars in savings in my pocket, so the fact that my dreams have crystallized and come true in such a major way is emotional and overwhelming to me. I am awash in genuine appreciation for Ted Sarandos, Reed Hastings and Cindy Holland at Netflix for believing in me and the future of my company which will continue to champion women, minorities and LGBTQ heroes and heroines, and I am honored and grateful to continue my partnership with my friends and peers at Fox on our existing shows.”
Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images
In case you’ve forgotten, that number of existing shows is pretty large. There are at least two seasons of American Crime Story and American Horror Story planned, along with at least one more season of Feud, and Pose, a new show about the vogue scene in the 1980s.
Murphy also produces Fox’s 9-1-1, starring Connie Britton, Angela Bassett, and Peter Kraus, which has already been renewed for a second season.
There’s also already one Netflix show in development from Murphy, starring favorite Murphy actress Sarah Paulson as a younger Nurse Ratched in an origin story for the character from One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.
You can get a full update on all of his shows with our gallery, The State of All of Ryan Murphy’s Upcoming TV Shows.
Murphy’s decision to leave 21st Century Fox may have a lot to do with the fact that it was recently acquired by Disney, and he joked with reporters during FX’s TV Critics’ Association press tour last month that while the deal was somewhat emotional for him, he had wondered if he would have to put Mickey Mouse into American Horror Story.
“I haven’t made a decision of where I’m going to go, but I’m going to wait and sit back,” he said at the time. “I’m hopeful.”

Review: 'Black Panther: The Album' Kendrick Lamar's Soundtrack
New Post has been published on http://gossip.network/review-black-panther-the-album-kendrick-lamars-soundtrack/
Review: 'Black Panther: The Album' Kendrick Lamar's Soundtrack
It’s not every day that the marketing machinations of a multibillion-dollar Walt Disney subsidiary align with the utopian imagination of the black artistic and intellectual vanguard. But we live in strange times. Thus Black Panther, the latest entry in the Marvel superhero movie universe, which arrives amid Star Wars-level hype. The Black Panther soundtrack album has been nearly as feverishly anticipated as the film, and no wonder: It is helmed by another improbable straddler of cultural categories, Kendrick Lamar, A-list pop star and Black Lives Matter-era protest poet nonpareil. The album opener, “Black Panther,” finds Lamar rapping in the voice of the superhero’s alter ego, T’Challa, king of the fictional African nation of Wakanda. The lyrics thrust listeners into comic book politics and palace intrigues; they also point, unmistakably, to age-old African diasporic dreams and 21st Century politics. “King of my city, king of my country, king of my homeland,” Lamar intones. “What do you stand for?/Are you an activist? What are your city plans for?”

It is tempting to compare Black Panther to Curtis Mayfield’s Superfly and Marvin Gaye’s Trouble Man, classic blaxploitation soundtracks that channeled the social consciousness and sonic adventurism of early Seventies soul. But the analogy is imprecise. Lamar co-executive produced the album, has writing credits on all 14 tracks, and appears throughout, in starring roles and cameos. His main job, though, is a definitively 21st Century one: musical curator. Lamar corrals old friends from L.A. (Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul), southern rap hitmakers (Future, Travis Scott), nu-soul leading lights (the Weeknd, Anderson.Paak), and a host of lesser-knowns, including a handful of South African musicians with no little commercial presence in America.
The Black Panther saga has strong feminist overtones – T’Challa is aided and goaded by a corps of female warriors called the Dora Milaje – and some of the strongest songs on the soundtrack train the spotlight on women. Lamar partners with SZA in the plaintive “All the Stars”; in “I Am,” the English singer Jorja Smith wraps her rasp around a fractured torch ballad. There is lots of excellent rapping, but the most startling bars belong to Yugen Blakrok, a female MC from Johannesburg, who gets a feature alongside Vince Staples and outshines the headliner, no mean feat.

That song, “Opps,” sends blips and buzzes darting around a bustling four-on-the-floor pulse. Like most of the songs on the album, it is co-produced by Lamar’s longtime comrade Sounwave, whose work on Black Panther is bleak, beautiful, propulsive, and spacious – a sci-fi sound for an Afrofuturist fable. Above all, it’s an affirmation of Kendrick Lamar’s powers, a fascinating entry in a discography that is inarguably the decade’s deepest. Black Panther‘s comic book mythology is goofy, but it resonates with Lamar’s own favorite themes. Like King T’Challa, King Kendrick grapples with the burdens and blessings of an exalted perch: Uneasy lies the head. Perhaps the most touching song on the album is also the most gauche, the album closer “Pray for Me,” in which Lamar pours out angst and bromides between schlocky refrains sung by the Weeknd. “I fight the world, I fight you, I fight myself/I fight God, just tell me how many burdens left.” At such moments, Lamar is something grander than a superhero: heroically human.

Justin Bieber Supports Kanye West's 'Red October' Trademark

Justin Bieber
I Got Your Back, Kanye
‘Red October’ All Day, Everyday
2/13/2018 3:33 PM PST
Tumblr media
Justin Bieber appears to be in full support of Kanye West‘s attempt to lock down a “Red October” trademark … ’cause he’s wearing the guy’s old Nike shoes of the same name.
Bieber was seen pulling up to a gym Tuesday in L.A. — driving his new Lamborghini, and rockin’ a pair of Nike’s Air Yeezy 2 “Red October” sneaks. We broke the story … ‘Ye, who’s since jumped to Adidas, is trying to reclaim the shoe’s name as his own.
Tumblr media
He’s already filed an application for exclusive rights and if granted, he’d be able to slap the name on a bunch of different clothing items as well as footwear. So, yes, you could see “Red October” shoes with a new company … if Kanye gets his way.
Looks like the Biebs is still a fan of the throwback model from 2014. Can’t blame him … they’re still pretty dope.

Peter Travers: 'Double Lover' Is Twice the Kinked-Up Thriller
New Post has been published on http://gossip.network/peter-travers-double-lover-is-twice-the-kinked-up-thriller/
Peter Travers: 'Double Lover' Is Twice the Kinked-Up Thriller
French filmmaker François Ozon can tackle subjects of the utmost gravity (see Under the Sand, Frantz and a host of other solemn dramas). But my favorite Ozon movies are the ones that blend seriousness with erotic mischief – works like 8 Women, Swimming Pool and In the House. Just as irresistible is the dangerously sexy and perversely funny Double Lover, a psychological thriller that concerns two psychologists … well, actually their twins.
At first, Chloe, beautifully played by Marine Vacth, doesn’t know this; neither, for that matter, does the audience. The ex-model is in therapy with Dr. Paul Meyer to relive the stomach pains she’s suffered since puberty. Has it made her frigid? He is too turned on by his patient to find out, and breaks off their sessions to propose they move in together. Which means Chloe must now seek treatment with Dr. Louis Delord, the twin brother Paul claims he never had. Both of these men are played by the same actor, the remarkable Jérémie Renier. And when he deftly switches from Paul’s compassion to Louis’s sadism, Chloe – and by extension, viewers – start seeing both them as two sides of the same coin.
Ozon risks getting a little too campy as his heroine contrives to keep the two men separate in her life, especially once one brother’s brutal sexual healing gives her epic orgasms but drives her further away from the other. The filmmaker is also explicit in the extreme, from the opening shot of Chloe’s gynecological exam – which delivers what can only be described as a genuinely unforgettable closeup – to a kiss that journeys into her trachea. (Deep throat, indeed.) She works security at a modern-art museum, which gives her lots of time to contemplate a world that might be fracturing – or is it just her own mind? There’s a mindblowing fantasy with both twins. A strap-on enters the picture. Also, Chloe’s nosey cat goes missing, and what’s going on with the cake-baking neighbor (the excellent Myriam Boyer) whose own feline has been stuffed? You may have to enter therapy yourself to get at the byzantine layers of meaning the movie throws out there.
Having loosely adapted his script from the Joyce Carol Oates novel Lives of the Twins, Ozon takes the plot in directions you don’t see coming. The terrific Jacqueline Bisset shows up as a figure from Chloe’s past … or is it the twins’ past? The French filmmaker uses more mirrors than Versailles to reflect the morphing psychological states of his characters, directing like an auteur punch-drunk on Hitchcock, Brian DePalma and David Cronenberg. Double Lover puts dull Hollywood twaddle like Fifty Shades Freed to shame with its wild, wanton ride into the subconscious. It’s the Valentine movie of choice for naughty lovers. You may have no idea where you are, but you will be riveted.

Ireland Baldwin Goes Completely Naked
New Post has been published on http://gossip.network/ireland-baldwin-goes-completely-naked/
Ireland Baldwin Goes Completely Naked
is no stranger to showing off plenty of skin on-and-off social media. The model daughter of actors and shared on Monday, February 12 a stunning black-and-white photo that showed her going completely naked.
With nothing covering her amazing figure, Ireland could be seen crouching down and hugging her knees next to a scenic landscape. Her trademark golden tresses were tied up in a messy bun as she leaned her head to the side. “I’ll take a nap right here,” so she captioned the snap.
The 22-year-old model shared the risque snap the same day the #LOVEVALENTINES was released. In the sweet LOVE Magazine ad directed by Doug Inglish, the model and her look-alike mom Kim can be seen sharing a sweet moment while frolicking at the beach together.
youtube
The nude snap aside, Ireland previously opened up about learning how to love herself and “accepting your flaws.” During an appearance on Megyn Kelly’s “”, the model shared, “I saw what people were saying about me, that of course I was modeling because I was so-and-so’s daughter. ‘She’s fat, she’s disgusting.’ I would get so down on myself.”
Ireland said that turning point was realizing that none of this was helpful, and only made her feel more insecure. “This is going to bring me down,” she realized. So she decided that “today, I am going to stop reading these comments and stop caring.”
She also “stopped altogether looking at articles and paparazzi photos.” She explained that she “used to be crazy about my double chin, or the bad angle of my butt. I’m not even going to look anymore. I owe it to myself.”
Aside from making her love herself, that turned her into an advocate for self-acceptance on social media. She shared, “We all get to this point where we’re either going to accept who we are, or we’re going to make it so difficult for ourselves to accept what we’ve been given.”
Ireland revealed she didn’t count calories or obsess over what’s on her plate. She’s been working out “hard,” and her passion for boxing helps her stay fit. “I don’t eat well at all,” she said. “I go through so many phases. I’m eating more vegan one month, or vegetarian, or I have a burger again. I’m such a foodie. I hate missing out. I hate salad beyond anything in the world. I love my wine. I need to eat fun food.”

How Women, Tech Took Over Porn: Inside the 2018 AVN Awards
New Post has been published on http://gossip.network/how-women-tech-took-over-porn-inside-the-2018-avn-awards/
How Women, Tech Took Over Porn: Inside the 2018 AVN Awards
From #MeToo to cam stars, this year’s Oscars of the obscene showcased the future of porn
Here’s a Black Mirror pitch: You pay several hundred dollars to attend the world’s biggest porn convention and awards ceremony. You travel to Las Vegas, where the air has transformed into mentholated nicotine vapor and no one will validate your parking. You do this in order to meet porn stars in the flesh, to see them onstage celebrating the Oscars of the obscene, because – even though, according to Scientific American, half of us are now creating our own sexual content on our personal devices – there’s something superhuman about sexual celebrities.
Death of a Porn Star
When August Ames killed herself following controversy on Twitter, it revealed a schism between the gay and straight communities in the porn industry
But when you arrive at the convention, in place of your 1990s dream of impossibly proportioned stars in bedazzled Lycra posing for Polaroids, what you see is a 15,000-square-foot hall teeming with hundreds of beautiful, semi-clothed models of all shapes and styles, grinning into their laptops. You try to talk to a young woman in heart-shaped pasties and booty shorts, but she’ll only give you a few seconds of attention before she’s back to clicking her shiny gold nails across her keyboard.
Here’s the twist: This ain’t no dystopian nightmare. Attendees of the 35th Annual Adult Entertainment Expo and Adult Video News Awards were treated to precisely this display of tech-mediated intimacy. Plenty of big names were in attendance – stars who had led more traditional adult-film careers – but they were outnumbered by scores of up-and-coming models who primarily built their own businesses using cam shows, original clip stores and monetized social-media platforms. The mass availability of easily pirated streaming video may have decimated the porn economy, but it seems that women are the ones adapting, finding fresh ways to connect directly with consumers. As these models gain more economic influence, they are also raising the bar for consent conversations throughout the industry.
The last time I was at the AVNs was in 2012, when I was nominated for producing and directing a niche site called QueerPorn.TV. My Bay-Area scene was proud to think of ourselves as the forward-thinking weirdos, exemplifying the characteristics of the queer porn genre: body-positive and diverse, with a riot-grrrl aesthetic. We were nominated in the somewhat self-contradicting category Best Professional Amateur Site, and were miffed when we lost to Clips4Sale, a platform which had been around since 2003 for creators to upload and sell short original videos. Here we were, indie smut with a vision, and we lost to a tech host?
Now, it seems as clear as a Bellagio fountain that clips stores were the future of “professional amateurs.” While much of the male-dominated porn studio system is fighting against stolen content, independent female artists have been able to establish a sustainable business, producing their own content and marketing it to a small but loyal fan base.
One such artist is Bratty Nikki, a leggy, half-Mexican, half-Irish woman with a frosty reality-TV aesthetic: blonde extensions, impossible nails, skin-tight miniskirts and designer spiked heels. She sat on a gleaming white couch in an enormous booth on the expo floor, calling attention to her shirt, which read; “Never underestimate the power of a girl who knows what she wants.”
“Never underestimate the power of a girl who knows what she wants,” says Bratty Nikki. Roger Kisby for Rolling Stone
Nikki is the executive vice president of IWantEmpire.com, an umbrella company that includes IWantClips, IWantPhone, IWantFanClub and IWantCustomClips, with more in the works. Hers is one of many companies vying for dominance in a sort of clips market arms race. Nikki got her start seven years ago working as an online financial dominatrix, offering phone and cam sessions to clients in which she expressed a personality she tells me isn’t really a character. “I am a greedy brat,” she says. “I believe that I deserve the best out of life. My fans love that I’m confident enough to say, ‘This is what I want and you’re gonna give it to me.'”
She started IWantEmpire with her husband, entrepreneur Jay Phillips, because she felt other host sites were underestimating her as an artist. Like other platforms, they take a cut of the profits, but the artist sets their own price and decides what and how much they want to upload. Their brand expanded to offer a store for consumers to order custom clips, and a fan club where artists can monetize social media-like “lifestyle” content. As it turns out, kinky consumers are willing to pay for content created by people who understand precisely what they’re looking for.
Like many fetish clips, Nikki’s videos don’t include sex or even nudity, just specialty monologues in which she teases, chastises and degrades her devotees. In the larger-than life video projected over us in the booth, she wore skinny jeans and a tank top, standing in an apartment entryway holding shopping bags. “Yes, I’m leaving you,” she spits at the camera with an exaggerated eye roll. “I’ve already maxed out your credit cards. Taken a bunch of vacations with my girlfriends that you paid for. You’re going to be sitting home alone tonight crying into your pillow as you hate-jerk your little cock.”
The audacity of financial domination is a perfect fit for naturally bossy women. Haven, a Haitian-American dominatrix from Orlando, says that when she was go-go dancing and camming she didn’t take direction from clients very well. When she discovered that she could make fetish clips online, it was a way for her to make a career off her genuine demeanor. “I really don’t want to talk to you; I really just want your money,” she deadpans. “That’s me, wholeheartedly.” Now she films around 15 short clips every Sunday, improvising on topics like small-penis humiliation or jack-off instruction. She spends the rest of the week editing footage, scheduling uploads, writing marketing copy and promoting her brand on social media.
Fans mill about the floor of the AEE. Roger Kisby for Rolling Stone
“It takes a lot of work to make this look so easy,” she says.
I tagged along to an afternoon of clip shoots at a local film studio run by porn director/performers Madeline Marlowe and Will Havoc. Havoc was pulling a red and black leather harness over his tattooed chest, preparing to shoot sex scenes with two porn stars named Riley Nixon and Arabelle Raphael.
Riley, who was nominated for Best New Starlet at the AVNs, wiggled into a canary-yellow latex two-piece and platform heels. As she filled out her legal paperwork, she kept squatting and yanking on the rubbery crotch of her outfit. Even though she was following a conventional route to adult film fame, signing at the Penthouse booth and shooting for notorious gonzo studio Elegant Angel, she also sold Skype shows, custom clips and signed Polaroids on her personal website. She would post today’s footage on her own ManyVids and OnlyFans pages, where fans can pay a monthly membership for access to exclusive content.
One advantage to making her own content is that she has more leeway to maintain her preferred androgynous style and buzzed head – some mainstream studios still won’t cast models with short hair or tattoos. “I’ll wear a wig to play a character, but I don’t want to have to wear a wig to play the role of a woman,” she complains.
Arabelle has had to deal with her own hair troubles in the industry. She’s a French-Persian Jew, and long ago grew tired of being expected to straighten her hair and use skin-lightening makeup to work with certain directors.
“I was being cast in really racist roles,” she says, “and basically told I was not good enough.” She took time off to build her own membership site, a Clips4Sale store, and an OnlyFans following, discovering unprecedented financial and emotional success. “I had no idea I was a good performer and that people wanted more content of me,” she says. “I left my hair curly, got as many tattoos as I wanted, shot with who I wanted.”
Riley, Arabelle and Will showed one another the results of their standard STI tests on the secure Performer Availability Scheduling Services database. They negotiated sexual boundaries and preferences while doing their own costuming and makeup. With low production cost and the creative advantage of working with friends, they’re each an individual porn studio unto themselves.

Porn stars work hard and party hard, and sometimes they work while they’re playing. Late that night, I was invited to a private sex party with a hard-to-obtain address. A Lyft took me away from the light pollution of the strip to an edge of town tract housing development. Through the unfurnished living room, past an ominously neon-lit pool, was a warehouse filled with porn stars smoking blunts and offering one another bumps in their rhinestone-encrusted nails.
Hired stars ascended to a sort of wrestling platform in the center of the room, performing exaggerated lubed-up sex for onlookers to the rhythm of deafening drone metal. My friends, a polyamorous “family,” decided to find a quieter room in which to play. As I enjoyed a beer and watched sex-worker activist Siouxsie Q fuck her curly-haired boyfriend Michael Vegas, an AVN nominee for Best Supporting Actor – as her Barbie-blonde pro-domme girlfriend Bella Bathory was eaten out in a nearby chair – it occurred to me that we were doing exactly what porn fans assumed we must be doing. I felt like I had ringside seats to watch NBA superstars play a pick-up game.
As the four-day convention wore on, the all-night partying didn’t threaten to slow anyone down. The AEE still makes the classic circuit demands of conventional porn stars, each scheduled to appear for three- to five-hour shifts, where they were to sign and sell eight-by-10 glossies, allow hands around their waists and shoulders, smile, twerk, tell fans how their favorite position is still reverse cowgirl, princess wave, talk to men like they’re babies, talk to men like they’re dogs. But it was the cam models who had the boundless energy, who behaved like Vine stars or friends at a slumber party that just happens to be surveilled. They hovered over their screens, promising to spank one another in exchange for tips; the ding of virtual tokens being earned echoed the slots at the nearby casino.
The models had each brought their own laptops, colorfully branded with their stage names. Most of them had elaborate production rigs including flattering ring lights, bulky webcams and phallic microphones. Cam models perform all kinds of explicit shows when they broadcast from their homes; but, due to city-wide nudity laws, they couldn’t wear less than pasties and a thong at AEE. That meant no dildo shows or live sex. Yet their chirpy conversation still had value for the members watching from home, some of whom had actually financed the travel for their favorite model.

At the booth for the webcam company Chaturbate, both men and women were making cameos on one another’s screens. This seemed to be in defiance of the porn convention that objects of desire should be separated, lest a consumer’s taste be offended or boner deflated by something they weren’t expecting to see.
A male model named Leon with One-Direction hair and powder-blue briefs explained to me that one of his online fans had just told him he was enjoying watching all the broadcasts because, “It’s like seeing all of the characters from my favorite TV shows in a crossover episode!”
I approached a group of giggling young camgirls in pastel-colored wigs. They were teasing a group of bystanders, telling them to tune in to their group cam show later that night “to see some real action.”
I asked them if they were hoping that in future years they’d be as famous as the porn stars in the Wicked or Evil Angel booths? Did they want everyone to know their names?
One of the models shook her head vigorously, making her unicorn-horn headband wobble. “The more famous you get,” she pointed out, “the more people will pirate your content.”
Her friend, who was wearing a mesh leotard with skeleton hands covering her nipples, agreed: “We make more money when only our fans know who we are.”

With the national conversation surrounding #MeToo, it was no surprise that the sex workers at AEE were ready to address the topics of harassment and bodily autonomy. Members of the Adult Performer Advocacy Committee (APAC) handed out colorful “What Is Consent?” flyers, which illustrated how consent is “informed” and “freely given,” and that it “can be revoked at any time.”
For the second year in a row, every single convention attendee – fans and exhibitors alike – was required to sign a Code of Conduct form that outlined, for example, the difference between a consensual public picture and a violation such as an upskirt.
The Code of Conduct described a zero-tolerance policy towards “stalking, unwelcome physical contact” and “offensive verbal assaults,” emphasizing that guests were “welcome to use the restroom that match their gender presentation or identity.” This last stipulation was especially welcome from the trans community attending the awards, as two years ago several performers accused Hard Rock security guards of disrespecting a gender non-conforming attendee.
Some participants were aware of ways they could make their models more comfortable. Best director nominee Greg Lansky, a delightfully flashy French pornographer in a red Givenchy tracksuit, says that he literally elevates his studio so that fans can see women “on a pedestal.” His security teams knows which performers are ok hugging and touching their fans and which aren’t.
“I’m trying to make these girls feel good about what they do,” he says. “They all worked really hard to get here.”
With security at all corners of his booth, with its Instagrammable gold couch and open bar, Lansky believes fans get the message that women deserve respect.
“It’s hard for me to go anywhere [in the hotel],” says Jessica Drake, a Best Actress nominee, from the relative privacy of her pristine media suite. “Guys congregate in groups of 30 and just stand there. They circle you. I’ve become a master of taking a selfie and restraining them at the same time.”
Director and performer Joanna Angel, owner of the alt genre site Burning Angel, says she’s never had a bad experience with a fan at AEE. “The fans are traveling to be here,” she says. “They’re really looking forward to this. People wait in really long lines to come see you.” The only time she’s seen nonconsensual groping is from men at the bar after the convention, whom casino security quickly ejected. “I wouldn’t even call guys like that fans,” she says, just entitled jerks.
Ron Jeremy, who has been considered more of a walking novelty than active performer for many years, was banned from the convention and awards show following his claim that groping is a part of the job of his pubic appearances.
In a statement to Rolling Stone, AVN CEO Tony Rios commented, “Ron Jeremy admitted guilt to specific aspects of our code of conduct policy. We discussed this with Ron, and he was not allowed to attend the convention and awards show.”
However, performer/director James Deen, who was accused of on-set misconduct as well as intimate partner violence back in 2015, was nominated at and attended the awards.
Rios clarified, “We did not prohibit people from attending based on accusations.”
Siouxsie Q, who was recently elected secretary of APAC, is upset about what she sees as double standards, where the young, powerful Deen is still welcomed while aging Jeremy is put out to pasture.
“I think we see similar trends in Hollywood. These accounts of Harvey Weinstein’s predatory behavior aren’t coming out during the height of the Kill Bill franchise, but rather in the soggy aftermath of Paddington Bear 2,” she says. “As someone’s star dwindles, people are more willing to watch them fall.”
Deen’s attorney Michael Fattorosi characterized comparisons to Jeremy as “inaccurate and unfair.” In a statement, he said, “James was never investigated criminally, nor were there ever any lawsuits filed against him by any of the accusers. Nor did James ever admit to any misconduct on his part.”
And unlike other industries where powerful men continue to be reckoned, those in porn face powerful taboos. “It’s challenging for adult performers to speak out regarding any abuse that occurs; it is because it perpetuates stigma and allows for society to tell us we asked for it,” says Tasha Reign, an APAC chairperson.
Siouxsie Q agrees that stigma plays a huge role in consent controversies within the sex industry. “As long as sex workers have as much difficulty as they do when reporting and prosecuting sexual assault,” she says, “there will continue to be a culture of silence, victim scrutiny, and inconsistencies in how the industry responds.”
Janice Griffith was nominated for the Best Actress award at the AVNs. Roger Kisby for Rolling Stone
“What do you think of this dress? It’s very ‘Times Up,’ but is it whorey enough?”
Janice Griffith, a Best Actress nominee, is in her hotel room preparing for the awards. It’s true that her black cocktail dress is not as provocative as some of her colleagues’ revealing red-carpet looks. The teal undertone in her ombre hair is fading. She’s Indo-Caribbean, Angelina Jolie-skinny, and speaks with a husky authority. She barks at her date not to interrupt her, impulsively dumping out a jar of candy because there’s nowhere else for him to pour her a fresh vodka cocktail.
None of Janice’s friends in attendance know how to roll a joint. I’m happy to oblige, so she gratefully hands me a packet of rolling papers the size of a hot dog and a sack of sativa the size of my laptop.
“Our biggest issue is that we treat an industry of freelancers as if we’re an industry of employees,” Janice says. Despite the efforts of the Adult Performer Advocacy Committee and Free Speech Coalition, in her view, porn is currently too under-regulated for meaningful accountability.
“When men make women uncomfortable, we brush it off,” she says, “because we know people will write us off as being over-reactive or emotional.”
I visited many porn star rooms and saw both their self care safeguards and true psychological states – Sephora explosions and Cosco-sized boxes of Tangerine Emergen-cee, elaborate dabbing rigs and electric kettles. Janice had brought Complete Works of Kierkegaard.
Harli Lotts, co-host of the AVNs, dons a suicide awareness and prevention ribbon on the red carpet. Roger Kisby for Rolling Stone
As the red carpet wound its way through the Hard Rock, gamblers and bar patrons scrambled for a glimpse of the stars. While many pornographers opted for prom-worthy gowns and suits, their outfits nodded to their profession with bare midriffs, waist-high slits and undulating décolletage. Some wore little more than fringed bikinis. Lance Hart, founder of the PervOUT network, stood out in a stripper-style policeman’s shirt and fishnet stockings; he was handcuffed to his date Charlotte Sartre, who revealed on Twitter that she was not wearing anything underneath her slinky black dress. Abella Danger, last year’s Best New Starlet, shimmered in a transparent bodysuit adorned with strategically placed green and pink crystals.
The AVN awards show was predictably raunchy but surprisingly sincere. Co-hosted by comedian Aries Spears, Australian performer/director Angela White and camgirl Harli Lotts, the event’s biggest draw was hip-hop star Lil Wayne, who performed two high-energy sets with a drummer and DJ. The teleprompter dialog meshed well with the talents of porn star presenters, who were well-practiced in the art of the arched eyebrow and exaggerated wink.
White set a record by winning fourteen awards, the most AVN wins in one night. Clutching her Female Performer of the Year trophy to her remarkable cleavage, she emotionally thanked her co-stars for “allowing me to be vulnerable.”
Tommy Pistol, the Best Actor winner for a film called Ingenue, praised the industry for being a “fucked up family.”
Yet Spears, a MADtv alum, did not seem to pick up on the changing attitudes in the room. “Your personal space should not be invaded,” he declared, before utterly failing to read the room. “However, you bitches look delicious tonight. If I should come up to you and beg you for a blowjob, can you blame me? I am a hot blooded heterosexual male in a room full of professional cocksuckers.”
Eventually, the celebration came to an end. The false eyelashes were peeled off, the hangovers medicated with Ibuprofen and brunch. Pornographers’ minds return to their business, and to the social challenges they continue to face.
“We demand so much from porn stars,” says Bree Mills, a lesbian writer and director. “Performers who have made successful careers could be mentors. Give them infrastructure. Get them an appointment with an accountant, get them health care. They get the stigma stamp on them harder than anybody. We have to take care of them.”

Andy Cohen Defends Sarah Jessica Parker as Her Feud With Kim Cattrall Gets Nastier

Andy Cohen Defends Sarah Jessica Parker as Her Feud With Kim Cattrall Gets Nastier
It looks like there is no end to the continuing feud between and . As the drama between the two former co-stars of the “” TV and film series gets even nastier, Sarah’s close pal has weighed in, seemingly picking a side.
During Monday’s (February 12) “Andy Cohen Live” on his exclusive SiriusXM channel Radio Andy, the 49-year-old talk show host said, “I thought it was fake.” He added in disbelief, “There was no way Kim Cattrall has posted this on Instagram.”
youtube
Andy was referring to Kim’s February 10 post where she slammed Sarah and declared, “You are not my family. You are not my friend.” It’s in contrast to Kim’s previous statement in which she thanked all of her “SATC” family for support following the death of his brother Chris.
Apparently still confused by Kim’s outburst, Andy said, “This is a woman who is in the middle of grieving the loss of her brother, which is tragic and sad.” He shared, “I was thinking about it over the weekend and I was like, ‘Well, [SJP] follows Kim on Instagram, Kim posted about her brother dying and she expressed her condolences in a comment … like, one line, that’s it.”
The TV personality continued, “And then [Sarah] was doing press all last week for ”, and when you’re doing press, you’re asked the same questions about what’s going on. So people, I’m sure, were like, ‘What do you think of what happened [with Kim’s brother]?’ And she simply and concisely expressed her condolences.”
“She expressed her condolences on the post … I would not call that exploiting a tragedy,” noted the host. “What was she supposed to do? Say something bad? I don’t understand.” He then quipped, “I also don’t like it that people are characterizing this as a fat catfight. There’s only one person fighting here.”
Rumors of a feud between the “Sex and the City” co-stars swirled for years, but the quarrel resurfaced once it was confirmed there wouldn’t be a third “Sex and the City” movie. “This is really where I take to task the people from ‘Sex and the City’, specifically Sarah Jessica Parker, is that I think she could’ve been nicer,” Kim told back in October. “I really think she could have been nicer.”

Jennifer Garner Helped Her Daughters Sell Girl Scout Cookies Outside a Store
Tumblr media
Jennifer Garner’s Instagram is filled with one relatable post after another. Just look at this one, where she gets green particles caught in her teeth after making a healthy lunch. Or here, where she’s reading a children’s book to her golden retriever…as the golden retriever’s sitting on her lap. And then, of course, there was the time she ate a really spicy vegetable and drank water straight from the hose. If at least one of Garner’s Instagram uploads doesn’t make you say “same,” then it’s quite possible you don’t have a pulse. Garner is me, you, and all of us.
Especially during Girl Scout cookie season, which is a busy time for Garner seeing as how she two daughters. And she isn’t phoning her Girl Scout mom duties in, either. Exhibit A: This photo Garner uploaded to Instagram on Sunday, where she’s selling cookies outside a floral shop. “Why yes, kind sir, we do have Thin Mints,” the actress captioned the extremely regular pic. Check it out for yourself, below:
Garner gave some more details about her selling game on Instagram Stories. Apparently, she bought a small portion of her daughters’ cookie orders and decided to resell them to people who don’t have access to a Girl Scout.
“Wow! You guys love Girl Scout cookies,” she wrote. “Thank you for the response and, sadly, all of mine have new homes already. Have a great rest of your Sunday!”
See the slide, below:

PHOTO: Instagra,
Add “cookie savior” to Garner’s very long list of job titles. The Girl Scouts need to develop a new cookie flavor and name it after her, TBH.

Smashing Pumpkins Explain D'arcy Absence Ahead of Reunion
New Post has been published on http://gossip.network/smashing-pumpkins-explain-darcy-absence-ahead-of-reunion/
Smashing Pumpkins Explain D'arcy Absence Ahead of Reunion
Two days before the Smashing Pumpkins are rumored to announce the long-awaited reunion of three-quarters of their classic lineup, the band issued a statement explaining why the fourth key member won’t be taking part.
“In reuniting The Smashing Pumpkins, the band’s dedication remains to its fans and its music. To that, James Iha, Jimmy Chamberlin, and William Corgan haven’t played a show with D’arcy Wretzky for over 18 years. But it’s not for a lack of trying,” the band said in a statement Monday.
“For despite reports, Ms. Wretzky has repeatedly been invited out to play with the group, participate in demo sessions, or at the very least, meet face-to-face, and in each and every instance she always deferred. We wish her all the best, and look forward to reconnecting with you all very soon.”
The statement follows comments the bassist allegedly made to music site Blast Echo where she largely blamed Corgan for her exclusion from the reunion, which would have marked the first time Smashing Pumpkins’ classic lineup performed together since April 1999.
Additionally, Wretzky claimed that Corgan offered her a contract to rejoin the Smashing Pumpkins, only to rescind the offer. “My apologies to all of the Smashing Pumpkins fans out there who are excited about this oncoming reunion tour of the original members of the band. I know this is a huge disappointment for me, as well, but it’s not going to happen,” Wretzky told Blast Echo in late January. “I only just found about yesterday that the band has decided to go with a different bass player.”
Attempts to reach Wretzky for comment on the situation were unsuccessful. On a Facebook page reportedly connected to Wretzky, the bassist further discussed the issue with disappointed fans, adding “I was really looking forward to it-probably more than all the guys combined.”
Even though the Smashing Pumpkins have not yet officially announced their reunion – that is likely coming Thursday when a countdown clock on the band’s website hits zeroes – Corgan has been pretty open about the band’s plans on Instagram, revealing that he, Iha and Chamberlin have been working in a Los Angeles studio with producer Rick Rubin, who produced Corgan’s 2017 solo LP Ogilala.
The upcoming album would be the first Smashing Pumpkins LP to feature Iha since 2000’s Machina II/The Friends & Enemies of Modern Music, although Wretzky tempered expectations when she told fans that Iha only appeared on one of the songs Rubin produced.

Chip and Joanna Gaines' 7 Cutest Family Moments: Fixing Up Their Home Life After Finding Fame
New Post has been published on http://gossip.network/chip-and-joanna-gaines-7-cutest-family-moments-fixing-up-their-home-life-after-finding-fame/
Chip and Joanna Gaines' 7 Cutest Family Moments: Fixing Up Their Home Life After Finding Fame
Chip Gaines and Joanna Gaines are known for building dream homes on Fixer Upper, but the couple’s greatest project has always been their family.
The proud parents have four children: Drake, 12, Ella, 11, Duke, 9 and Emmie Kay, 7. They’re also planning on welcoming a fifth child later this year.
For the past five seasons, fans have gotten glimpses of the children’s idyllic country upbringing on HGTV. Now, viewers will get to see more of the kids on Chip and Joanna’s Family Garden Project. In the special, which airs Feb. 13 at 9:00 p.m. EST, the 43-year-old dad and 39-year-old mom recruit the help of their kids to give their backyard garden a fresh new look. The special airs during the show’s final season and serves as a sweet farewell to the Gaines family.
Joanna and Chip announced they were ending Fixer Upper in September 2017. While rumors of marital problems started to spread, Joanna cited their growing family as a reason for ending the show.
“For us, the most important thing in the world is Jo and I’s relationship, followed very quickly by these four beautiful kids,” Chip told Today back in October. “And we didn’t want to push it, red line it, for so long that we woke up and realized, we are at a point of no return.”
This isn’t the first time the couple has talked about the difficulties of balancing work and family. In 2011, two years before the first episode of Fixer Upper even aired, Joanna wrote about the struggle on her blog.
“For a while, it was working just great and then the stress of work started spilling over on the ‘mother’ side and I noticed even when I was home, my mind was always at work,” she said. “I noticed some things coming up in their hearts and even mine that were red flags. They needed their mom in this season of life and honestly I needed my kids.”
So before we say goodbye to the Gaineses, here’s a look back at seven of their cutest family moments.
1. When they involved their kids in their work
From Drake and Duke helping out with demo day to Ella turning an old attic into a study nook, there have been several instances when Chip and Joanna have engaged their kids with their work. It looks like their kids have inherited some of their DIY skills, too—especially Ella. Joanna shared a picture of their eldest daughter playing with a design book and textiles. In the caption, she wrote, “She asked me if she could be a designer when she grows up.”
2. When they taught them lessons through hard work
Whether the kids are trimming roses in the garden, tending to a baby calf or selling fresh eggs and vegetables, Chip and Joanna try to show their kids the value of hard work.
“It’s fun for the kids to really see when you take something and you take care of it and it grows up strong and healthy, I mean, it’s fun to watch the fruit of your labor,” Joanna said in an episode shared via People. “So it’s fun to have them be a part of it.”
3. When they let their kids’ personalities shine through
Each member of the Gaines family has a unique personality. They’re also strict about limiting the amount of screen time the kids have. In fact, the parents have said they don’t even have a TV.

Kylie Jenner‘s wasting no time getting back into her normal routine even though she popped a baby out just over a week ago.
The 20-year-old was spotted with Jordyn Woods grabbing some Starbucks Sunday. Kylie went for casual comfort with an Adidas tracksuit … a much more covered up look than Saturday’s ensemble, complete with black athletic shorts.
Still no sign of Stormi in public … but you gotta imagine Kylie’s got plenty of help at home to let Mom go out and do her thing.

Tom Cruise Films Another Death-Defying Jump on 'Mission: Impossible
Five months before the movie release, isn’t done filming “”. The 55-year-old actor was spotted filming another death-defying stunt on the set in London on Sunday, February 11.
In several pictures taken from the set, the Hollywood hunk was seen standing on the top of Tate Modern chimney tower with a harness attached to his back. He stared at a military helicopter flying near the building as it appeared that he was ready to jump onto the helicopter.
On the day before, he was spotted running down a busy street with an intense look on his face. Wearing a dark T-shirt with matching jacket and pants, he dashed through the passersby. In between takes for the said scene, he bundled up in a quilted jacket and scarf as he chatted with the film crew.
On Wednesday, the Ethan Hunt depicter filmed another high-octane scene at St. Paul’s Cathedral. Propelled by a harness, he was pictured running a leap off the roof before sailing through the air dangling on the helicopter.
Filming was put on hold for seven weeks following in August last year. He was to film more action scenes for the film in October, but it was because Cruise’s ankle had not healed properly. The production eventually earlier this month.

He said that hitting the wall was part of the stunt. “I was going to run across, and hit the side of the wall and pull myself over. That wasn’t the mistake,” he explained.
Asked if his injury was fully healed, Cruise said, “It’s still broken but I’m doing well. It’s not fully healed but we are shooting and we have a release date so I just have to keep going.” He added, “I spent eight to 10 hours a day, seven days a week in rehab because we still have some major stunts to do.”

'The Community': 5 Things We Know About Fringe Christian Sect

'The Community': 5 Things We Know About Fringe Christian Sect
Last week, several high-ranking editors and veteran reporters were fired from Newsweek, following a January 19th raid of their New York City office by the Manhattan District Attorney as part of an investigation into the publication’s finances. The nearly 85-year-old magazine, as well as the International Business Times, are both owned by the Newsweek Media Group, which reportedly has connections to Olivet University – a small, evangelical Bible college in San Francisco – as well as a fringe Christian sect known as “The Community.”
The extent of the relationship between the media organization, the university and The Community – or the ties to controversial Korean pastor David Jang, who is the founder of both the school and the sect – is not yet clear. (Newsweek Media Group and Jang did not respond to emails requesting comment; a representative for Olivet University tells Rolling Stone that their institution was founded by Jang “and is affiliated with a group of evangelical Christians. Like millions of other Evangelical Christians worldwide, Olivet is associated with and shares the beliefs of Evangelical Christians. Recent media reports which attempt to portray a business as a religious business due to the beliefs of their owners is a practice which is plainly discriminatory.”)
Yet details continue to emerge on what, exactly, is involved with membership in this Christian group that has been described as having some of the characteristics of a cult. Here’s what we know about The Community so far.
It’s been around for more than 25 years. In a 2014 investigative feature, Ben Dooley at Mother Jones reported that Jang founded “the Community” in 1992 based on the idea that, instead of Christians focusing on their reward in heaven, they should create heaven on earth via institutions that “will remake the world in the image of the church.” So far, it seems Jang has attempted to accomplish this by founding Olivet University in 2000, and launching several online publications including Christian Today and Christian Post. In 2006, he took a more secular approach when he founded IBT Media, publisher of the International Business Times, which acquired Newsweek in 2013.
Jang had connections to Rev. Sun Myung Moon. According to the Mother Jones story, it was a libel lawsuit in Japanese court – after Makoto Yamaya, a Salvation Army major, claimed that that the Community was part of Moon’s Unification Church and that Christian Today had used mind-control on its employees – that proved there was a connection between Jang and Moon. Though the court ruled that the case had no basis, filings showed that Jang had been involved with the Unification Church in his youth: he was a member of the student branch before attending another Moonie-run theological institute, which he helped transition into Sun Moon University in 1993. Additionally, four former Community members told Dooley that Jang would frequently discuss his involvement with the Unification Church, including taking part in a 1975 mass wedding ceremony, officiated by Moon himself. Now, Jang reportedly rejects Moon and his teachings. (Additionally, Olivet University denies there is any connection to Moon or the Unification Church.)
Jang recruited through “history lessons.” A 2012 investigative report in Christianity Today (not to be confused with The Community’s site Christian Today) by Ted Olsen and Ken Smith has done the deepest digging into the operations of The Community, including Jang’s recruitment strategy. According to their article, after gaining followers in China, Korea and Japan, Jang’s next target was the United States, where he would attempt to recruit new members – especially in the University of California system. Through the campus ministries, Community members would approach students who appeared to have an interest in the Bible and encourage them to take a series of 40 private “history lessons” which focused on discipleship and the group’s leadership. Specifically, several former members of Jang-affiliated groups told Christianity Today that the ultimate goal of the lessons was to get the students to confess that Jang was the “Second Coming Christ,” though that intention was never directly communicated by the instructors. Subsequently, if students did identify Jang as the Second Coming Christ, teachers would firmly direct them not to tell other people. And to clarify, no one who spoke to Christianity Today said the teaching that Jang is the Second Coming Christ has not occurred in recent years.
Despite the “history lessons,” Jang denies the Christ connection. Unlike some cult leaders who actively identify themselves as a messianic being, Jang has refuted the claims. According to the 2012 article in Christianity Today, Jang issued a statement in 2008 in which he said: “I have never taught that I am Christ.” However, several of the former Community members who spoke to Christianity Today indicated that they “found it implausible that Jang had no connections to the confessions that he was the Second Coming Christ.” Moreover, two separate sets of notes from the “history lessons” obtained by Christianity Today indicate that the content of the classes was similar to the teachings of Moon; specifically, that Jesus’s work remained unfinished after his death, and required another “Christ” to complete it.
The Community allegedly exercised control over its members. As Jang and his affiliated educational institutions, corporations, media and followers gained attention, criticism against the pastor and his organizations began to mount, Christianity Today reported. Posts on Japanese, Chinese and English-language websites warned that the Young Disciples of Jesus – another of Jang’s groups dedicated to Bible instruction – was teaching that he was the Second Coming Christ in addition to “isolating followers from their families, requiring them to donate large amounts of money, encouraging them to lie, and demanding strict secrecy” –classic cult behavior. Then, in 2008, an Independent Enquiry Committee in Hong Kong, comprised of high-level Chinese evangelical theologians, “unanimously expressed its serious apprehensions and concerns” about the group, particularly that the Young Disciples of Jesus were promoting doctrines similar to those of Moon’s Unification Church, according to Christianity Today. Documents sent to the publication from Olivet University and Christian Post squarely rejected the report out of Hong Kong, stating that it contained “repeated and ungrounded claims.”
Community membership allegedly came with a job and a price. For his 2014 Mother Jones article, Dooley interviewed two former members of the Community – a married couple he called Anne and Caleb, who were Chinese citizens residing in San Francisco. They were able to live in the U.S. thanks to a student visa obtained as a result of Caleb’s attendance at Olivet University. Anne told Dooley that she previously worked part-time for one of Jang’s ministries, but donated most of her salary to the Community. While attempting to study, Caleb told the magazine, he worked 10 to 12 hours each weekday and most weekends for the International Business Times, translating articles from English to Chinese for less than minimum wage. However, at the time Dooley wrote the article, he wrote that most International Business Times employees were not members of the Community.
