My hot take? LP wants to outshine his dad lol. His dad isn’t SUPER famous imo, but Bill Pullman is a name that’s well-known enough for his very niche roles but wide range in roles too. LP was already on that path with his indie movies and general acting range, but up until recently people were still asking LP questions during his interviews about his dad 😂 he hadn’t reached yet a level of recognition unlike the other nepo babies who are currently acting like Margaret Qualley and even Wyatt Russell.

My take on the Austin & Kaia relationship:

I think Austin either has some commitment issues (not a character judgement, just an observation) or knows his career right now is not conducive to a serious relationship and went for someone younger who was likely open to something casual.

Then, as they stayed together, she realized she wanted something more committed, and her team & possibly her parents got involved in pushing him towards that. When that didn't work out, she started acting out to get his attention back. The acting out pushed him away further until one of them to ended it finally.

Ultimately, who knows, but that's my read.

I think it would be good for him to stay single for a bit so he can figure out his priorities before picking a new person. His life has changed very quickly the past few years.

I don't think he has commitment issues I think Kaia was and is so fucking young that I don't think he thought it was the right time to proposed

I do think there was a time she wanted but then she changed her mind and started to act like a single girl all over other men (her parents really get involved in her romantic life way too much)

Saying Sebastian Stan only made real movies from last year isn’t true. He was in The Martian, and majority of people thought he was snubbed for I, Tonya.

Sebastian and Elizabeth Olsen heavily benefitted from not being at the top of the marvel call sheet, because it gave them a dollar sign over their head and meant they could help fund indie projects.

They can afford to take risks because of the marvel money, while not being super heavily affiliated with their characters, meaning they avoid type cast (Chris Hemsworth, Pratt, evans, even RDJ.)

I think I meant it was when he really was seen and got his first nomination so I think he also thought "oh okay, that's my line" (I didn't watch Thunderbolts or any of Sebastian press but I saw some people saying he was pretty done)

And I agree, I think both benefits from that because they are not trapped but I think Marvel it's like Disney, you need good years and good projects to people disassociate you from only Marvel only Disney

The timing with Kaia is very interesting and likely not a coincidence. If they were already seeing each other in Jan. of this year…just think about how it was before thunderbolts press tour. It was already creating buzz for him even before he got the major attention he got. And him being with Kaia will continue to get him more buzz bc look- now that thunderbolts is out in the world, there’s literally no more press about Lewis aside from his outings with Kaia lol. Their “relationship” is 100% transactional in that they keep each other in the press since they have nothing else going on right now. And I agree that Lewis likes it as a former nerdy boy who’s now ripped lol.

I read someone saying that they got together before Thunderbolts to not look too suspicious like "she was here before" but it's actually very calculated lol they got together and made it public in January before Thunderbolts to create a initial buzz just for the couple not Marvel related and then when the movie was out they couldn't say Kaia just got with him because he got his breakthrough lol
