Thorngale Oracle Deck kickstarter now live!!

As many of you know, I have been diligently creating a 44 card oracle deck to pair with my debut novel, Thorngale. It will come with a booklet explaining each card and a black velvet storage back. I hope to print enough to sell some on my website, but purchasing a deck through the kickstarter itself will be the most cost efficient way to get the deck, AND some reward tiers come with stickers or digital downloads of my other work, so head on over to check it out! I am super proud of it, it's a tremendously self indulgent labor of love.

damen when he realizes he’s not in a slow burn romance with problematic beginnings, but a complex psychological thriller in which the smartest fictional character i personally have ever encountered has decided to make his life a living hell and also they’re in love with each other but the psychological thriller stuff is way more important to his bitchy blonde nightmare malewife and he is SO down bad and just has to deal with laurent’s mean girls 4d chess petty nonsense bc it’s enrichment for him and damen will kill anyone who tries to get in laurent’s way and he can’t even pick up the very very VERY clear implications of laurent’s trauma that would probably allow them to reach some kind of vulnerability equilibrium in their relationship because he is too busy waxing poetic about laurent’s pretty hair to realize that he was [redacted] and that’s why he’s like this

Drawing this one made me so emotional. I just love how attentive Damen was in realizing Laurent was fighting with himself in that moment.

I had far too much free time on my hand this week, so I kept going. I wanted to try a cleaner way of drawing a comic page this time. The more rougher "coloring" style worked great for the fight scenes, but I wasn't sure about it for emotional ones... even if it did, I really like to try things out and see what happens.
