mira thinks it's a little obnoxious but still cute, and zoe is starting to copy vasco's techniques to use on daniel—which makes jay start to one-up her. suddenly daniel's desk looks like yours every lunch now.

and you? you love it. it's endearing how excited vasco is to present his findings to you. the sparkle in his eyes rivals the newest rock he brings you (does he polish them in his spare time?) and he waits like a puppy for your compliments.

one day, curiosity gets the better of you.

you're eyeing a neon frog keychain he brought you, with googly eyes and and a pullable tongue, while vasco is yapping away.

when vasco finishes you finally ask him, "why do you actually bring me these?"

it feels very ai like to me, and i've seen this specific formation(?) of description on both tumblr and wattpad and i thought it was such a artistic choice but someone's writing style really cannot be that similar to someone on another platform unless... they're both using the same ai software to write.

um honestly i can't answer anything regarding the english language structure because it's not my first language o(TヘTo) i don't know how to explain it, but there's a certain way that AI writes which might be similar to what you're talking about? i think i understand what you mean though, and yeah those types of descriptions do seem like a sign of generative AI but also i've also seen that in a lot of fics i've read before when they try to go for emphasis on certain points 💭

i think it'd only be like a big sign if there's a lot of others paired with it, like constant use of em dash, odd characterizations, inconsistencies, etc. because on it's own it might just be stylization
