Liv is smart, advanced for her age though not at exactly evil genius levels. She’s managed her own school through online learning methods for the last few years since she first got ill enough that she couldn’t regularly attend public school and being self paced allowed her to get through a good additional two grades since she pretty much worked through holidays, summer break etc as she could around her health. She enjoys most subjects but has a particular fondness for reading, literature, history, etc. She is decent enough at math and science and she grades well in them but she prefers literary creativity. She’s not exceptionally talented in art though she does enjoy sketching.
She is supposed to be attending a private school upon her arrival at Wayne Manor and though she hasn’t expressed her concern she’s nervous about attending such an elite environment and with kids a couple years older than her in her classes.

She knew she was staring. How could she not? Yes, she’d absolutely googled pictures and video clips of the infamous Wayne Manor. It was as much a place of myth and rumor as Arkham - one of the places in Gotham that kids whispered about late at night when they should be sleeping. Stories of ghosts that walked the halls and of things that went bump in the night.
But nothing could have prepared her for the actual place. For the sheer size of it. It was daunting and she felt small, even smaller than usual. She realized, then, that he’d been speaking, and a hint of color crept into still wan cheeks. “I’m sorry, Mr. Wayne. I … I was lost in my own thoughts,” she admitted. “This place - your home … it’s …. Beautiful.” And most definitely haunted. Or haunting. Was there a difference, she wondered?
@chokethelight / any Bruce.

My sister’s exploring. She says she wants to see every inch of this penthouse. Well, I hope she’s careful. Without a system, a person could get lost. My sister’s very resourceful.

so yes while obviously romantic plots are like literal heart eye school girl crushes so like basically nonexistent with this muse--
i am always willing to have muses traumatized (within certain limitations w/ child muses) in plots so like, wanna kidnap olivia to hold her ransom to get bruce to pay out? i mean -- good luck with that -- but it’s definitely an option for plots
(also the same goes with any that might know about bruce’s secret identity but that tends to be less in number)
i don’t tend to write gratuitous violence on child muse characters, it just makes me uncomfy, but emotional and psychological trauma is generally fine and some violence is okay with other violence being implied or discussed off screen etc. (again w/in obvious restrictions) is cool.
i don’t mind angst and trauma i just don’t have any interest in writing out explicit violence with child muses it just doesn’t seem necessary to me.

Olivia Roberts-Wayne.  Orphaned at the age of six.  Has some memories of her parents but not very clear ones.  Was in a foster home when at around age 11/12 she started getting ill and prone to extreme fatigue and other ailments; after some months of exams and bloodwork it was discovered that she had MacGregor’s disease.   While the treatment was still in development at Wayne Industries, after Olivia’s case worsened and she became hospital bound, an executive decision was made by the state to allow the experimental treatment.  In the months that followed, she slowly regained her health and it appeared / appears that the treatment was / is a success.   During those intervening months, she was visited by Mr. Lucius Fox and, eventually, by Bruce Wayne himself whom had, unbeknownst to Olivia, been paying for her treatment and care since the nature of her illness was originally discovered.  Eventually Bruce offered to adopt Olivia and while she hesitated, only because she did not want to become a burden to anyone, she did agree and is now the (latest) ward of Bruce Wayne.
                More to come.
(Also to note she’s like 13ish or so in current threads / plots)

heck it, a compiled collection of angsty starters for your angsty needs … sentence starters
“You left me.”
“Please lie to me.”
“I need you to stay.”
“You’re scaring me.”
“I thought you cared.”
“I only wanted to help.”
“I’m not the one you want.”
“You never cared, did you?”
“I wasn’t made to be the hero.”
“Don’t lie to me. Don’t do that.”
“You’re haunted by something.”
“Did this mean nothing to you?”
“I don’t mean to push you away.”
“I thought we were meant to be.”
“I used to care what you thought.”
“You took my heart when you left.”
“There’s nothing left here to save.”
“Please, don’t. Please, don’t leave.”
“I won’t do it. I won’t become them.”
“You never even tried to save them.”
“I don’t want you here, not anymore.”
“I can’t believe you kept this from me.”
“You need to stop clinging to the past.”
“Nothing is ever good enough for you.”
“I thought I could trust you. I thought…”
“I don’t need anyone else. Not even you.”
“You can’t keep pushing yourself like this.”
“There’s no one up there watching over us.”
“Don’t do it unless you understand the price.”
“You got hurt… because of me. I’m so sorry.”
“Your eyes are so cold when you look at me.”
“They’re gone… and you need to accept that.”
“You keep hurting me. I just want to know why.”
“You can go, but you know they won’t love you.”
“You’re scared of them. I can see it in your eyes.”
“I don’t know how to let myself be loved like this.”
”You’ve done nothing but lie to me from the start.”
“What would you be willing to give to change it all?”
“You don’t even realize what you’ve done, do you?”
“I don’t know how to tell you what’s wrong with me.”
“You can fool everyone else, but you can’t fool me.”
“I don’t recognize the person in the mirror anymore.”
“If you keep doing this, you’re going to end up dead.”
“You break my heart. And I don’t know why I let you.”
“You need to lie back down, you’re barely conscious.”
“Something is keeping you awake. Is it fear or regret?”
“I’m here, because I don’t have anyone else to turn to.”
“Look me in the eye and tell me, again, you don’t care.”
“There’s not a single thing that real about you, is there?”
“They’ll keep kicking you down until you kick them back.”
“I just want to help you, but you clearly don’t want me to.”
“You don’t have to do everything on your own, you know.”
“We’re not good people. We’ve never been good people.”
“You won’t survive if you stay here… you know that, right?”
“I can’t even trust myself. How am I supposed to trust you?”
“You’re not a good person. You pretend to be, but you’re not.”
“You might not be a villain, but you sure as hell aren’t a hero.”
“You can’t move on if you let the past keep holding you back.”
“How can you look me in the eye and say something like that?”
“They’re gone. They’re gone, and there was nothing I could do.”
“Can you just tell me the truth?? For once, just tell me the truth!”
“Why won’t you let me in? Why do you keep pushing me away?”
“There’s something wrong here. And I don’t think it can be fixed.”
“I only wanted to make you proud. Now I see that was pointless.”
“I love you, but I can’t stay here and watch you do this to yourself.”
“You say you love me in one breath, then hurt me in the next. Why?”
“Oh my god, you’re burning up. Why didn’t you tell me you were sick?”
“There’s nothing there! It’s just a hallucination, you’re okay, you’re safe!”
“Leave if you want. But, if you do, don’t come back. Don’t ever come back.”
“Because I still think you could be a good person, I just think you choose not to.”
“You don’t have to love me, you don’t even have to like me, but I need you here.”
“You’ve never been honest with me… I don’t know why I expected you to start now.”
“Why do you keep risking yourself like this? Do you not care whether you live or die?”
“You keep breaking yourself down for them, but you know they wouldn’t do the same.”
“I would do anything for you. But, I’m starting to realize you wouldn’t do the same for me.”
