*facebook voice* Yeah I like metal music... when one of the instruments is a random sheet of metal 🤣😂😂🤣💯🔥
#honestly I've been mostly listening to like experimental industrial stuff the past few weeks which I haven't really been posting much#because a) probably most of the other goths into it know more about it that me lol and b) this is a goth music sideblog and like sure#there's a bit audience shared with goths for those genres but I feel like at some point there's a point where I have to go well that's not#really relevant here... because like I do listen to normal pop or whatever as well but obviously I'm not going to post that here

The end cretaceous extinction meteor is a pretty mainstream 'death rock', personally I think the asteroid that formed the Acraman impact structure should be considered just as important but is often forgotten by self proclaimed death rock enthusiasts because there was less complex multicellular life around, when in fact it was similarly 'groundbreaking'

Okay the question was what does the suffix '-zoic' mean, and I was like arghhh I did not study for this that, this is a linguistics question not a geology question why is it on the exam 😭. But luckily it was multiple choice and there were 3 rock related answers and then something about 'life' and I was like hmm specimen has the album Azoic, surely they wouldn't call an album 'no strata' it has to be 'no life' right?? And it turns out that was correct so as always reading random goth related wikipedia articles is the most important way of studying for anything 👍

New louder aircon kicked in I love dynamic variation or whatever it's called
Listening to a bunch of industrial recently and I'm currently at the doctor getting an iron infusion and listening to the whir of the aircon and drip of the iron solution in the syringe thing. This too is dark ambient.
