out of boredom i decided to scan a stuffed shark. here are the results.

Sequence highlights Eva Unit 1’s reactivation and berserk attack on Sachie

l#2_C261 Unit 1 readies itself for bounding leap towards the angel, after reactivation.

 #2_C264Unit 1 collides with Sachiel after bounding flip, proceeding to seize the Angel, before breaking away. The sequence lacks many of the in-between and secondary animations playing in tandem (ex. debris, flailing umbilical cable, sparking sfx) which help the scene convey the sense, of weight transference, and the two giants struggling against one another.

#2_C265Still Cam of Unit 1 as it kicks off Sachiel and lands in the foreground of the composition. 

*note these are keyframes, without any in-between frames. The final shots, their frame counts, and the timing of the frames will vary from these sequences and the final edits of the episode.
