Zygarde only stares at the trainer and lets out a soft trill. The comment is offensive but it doesn’t really care what some kid thinks of it, especially one that seemed well-meaning.

Bonnie, on the other hand, glares up at the older boy. “Squishy is adorable and squishy and a good friend! You shouldn’t call Pokemon mean names!”

She laughed as the Pokemon jumped towards her, and bent down so she could reach out and pat Phanpy’s head. “I’ve never seen a Pokemon like you in Kalos before! Are you visiting with your trainer? Do you think they’d mind if I gave you a treat?”

Bonnie didn’t wait for a response before she dug into her bag with her free hand, eventually pulling out a pokepuff. “Here you go!”

“Don’t you think I’m a little old for imaginary friends, Onii-chan? He’s real, his name is Logan and he’s super nice! He has a pink Celebi so I know he’s not lying about the Mythical Pokemon!”

“Dad and the Professor don’t have to know, I’ll take good care of it so it doesn’t matter! Why do you always try to ruin my fun? We’re not doing anything bad, we wouldn’t ever hurt the Pokemon!”

“No, of course not!” Though now she wonders if that would work...

“I made a bet with a friend! If I get someone to ask you out by the end of today then he’ll give me a Mythical Pokemon, and if I lose then I’m not allowed to s’il vous plait for three months.”

“I guess you don’t have to say yes, as long as someone asks you, so just go along with it for today, okay? Pretty please?”
