I hate big group fans that try to undermine smaller group’s achievements by saying that they don’t matter. I’ve even seen this is my own fandom when Vixx beat Twice once during the entire promotion. Once’s said that it didn’t count because it wasn’t a big win.

Although I’m a fan of all the new ggs from the big three it hurts me to see Red Velvet always come in third. They’ve been out for longest but Twice quickly surpassed them and even Blackpink garners more views and a higher brand reputation and they just debuted and barely promote. RV is bursting with talent and they consistently have amazing albums and chreorophaphy and on top of that they’re all gorgeous! I feel like SM promoted them better they would start being more comfortable on variety (it feels like watching rookies at times bc they act so shy) and they’d gain more fans. I think they deserve it.

Groups like Red Velvet, BlackPink, Gfriend and Dreamcatcher are the only hope for girl groups to stop being called weak dancers. Their choreos are a breath of fresh air.

Not liking the part where OP wished BTS should go on hiatus bcs I'd like myself some new BTS songs but man, how true it is that ARMYs keep on shoving "BTS" down our throats or how they keep on saying/thinking "BTS basically invented/brought up KPOP"

I’m getting really tired of seeing BTS everywhere. The boys are talented, and the music is good, but they’re so over-hyped. They’re not the best group to ever exist, and I’m also sick of Armys insisting they are and dissing other groups because of it, especially since the Billboard awards (which isn’t even because of their artistry, it was just b/c of social media. All it said was that they had a lot of fans). I wish BTS would just go on hiatus for a while and let things calm down.

Fans pushing for BTS to appear, be nominated, and win American awards honestly seems incredibly desperate, and makes me feel like BTS’ reputation will all be based off of their rather forward fan base than their musicality.

I think seventeen could easily be as big as exo one day. they’ve been moving up since their debut, and show no signs of slowing down.

BTS are the type of group that is impossible to avoid, whatever if you are a kpop fan or not or have a 0 knowlage of kpop there is 100% chance that you will see BTS on every social media, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook even Freaking Popular Youtubers do a Reaction video on their Music video when they just run out of ideas and use them to gain views. Even if you unfollow everyone who stans BTS just to take a break from theam, They will comeback on your feed like a freaking boomerang, Even EXO when they were at the peak of their popularity weren’t that on your face like BTS, im just sooooo sick and tired of them.

Although I follow other groups a lot closer I would rather hang out with Got7 than any other group. The boys seem like so much fun just to be around

Kpop songs are taking more and more influence from western music, and I kind of miss the days where there was more uniqueness to kpop. Now most songs are edm and sound just like western pop. That doesn’t mean it’s bad, but I miss when the music was more distinct

I don’t understand how people can say that groups with members that have left like SNSD, EXO, Super Junior, 2NE1, Wonder Girls etc. can’t be called ‘legends’ of the industry because of that. If anything the fact that they have lost members but still have the recognition and success that they have had makes them even better.

BlackPink’s “As If It’s Your Last” sounded so much like a 2ne1 song to me, to the point where I cried while listening to it. I’m a long-term 2ne1 stan and this song just really reminded me of them. I’m a fan of BlackPink as well, but this song really struck me in the heart as 2ne1’s fan.

Dear armys, I’m glad bts is doing well and “breaking barriers” but stop trying to shove a social media award down my throat to prove your oppas are somehow better than mine. All it proves is that there are way too many of you with too much time on your hands

That whole incident with TOP shows that Kpop isn’t just unicorns and innocence. Bad stuff like that is going to happen, it’s the entertainment industry
