Behind all of her public achievements, Kanya is a loving sister to her five younger cousins, Jilan, Gita, Anjani, Asha, and Tita. Their bond goes beyond blood—they are soul sisters who support each other through thick and thin. From this deep connection, the idea for Nyata Bergerak was born—an NGO they built together with a noble purpose: to fight for the rights of stray and wild animals in Indonesia. Inspired by The Katamandara Foundation, they set up two shelters in Jakarta and Surabaya, with hopes of expanding their reach to other regions. Nyata Bergerak is more than just a shelter; it’s a home for those who have long been neglected. With most of the financial support coming from the five founders, this organization stands as proof that love knows no species boundaries. Through collaborations with institutions like the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation and Taman Safari Prigen, they strengthened their efforts in wildlife conservation and the preservation of endangered species in Indonesia.
