Arte Wolfe Reflection
After doing a lot of research on Arte Wolfe for class, I learned not only a lot about him, but I also learned a lot of facts about photography itself. After graduating college, Wolfe took a big attraction to photography and he in particularly like nature photography. In fact, he has traveled all around the world with the motivation to only take photos while on vacation. He has also been given multiple awards and has had many of his photos in books and tutorials.

Self Directed Shoot #6 post #5 reflection
1. Teenage lifestyle update 2. For this assignment, I really tried to capture what it is like to be a teen now a days. So I went to a couple different places around town to help capture that image. 3. I ended up liking how a lot of the photos turned and I feel that there is a big difference between these photos and my last teenage lifestyle photo shoot. 4. If I could do this project again, I would probably want to capture more photos with more teenagers in them so that you could easily read their different expressions . 5. Something that I really tried to focus on whiling shooting these pictures, was trying to use a lot of different colors in one photo to help enhance the picture and make it stand out even more.

Self Directed Shoot #5 post #5 reflection
1. Free choice Shoot- editing 2. For this shoot, I used the Filterra app that I got in the App Store to help enhance different photos. I got to really explore around through the app a lot while experimenting with a lot of the different effects that it offers. 3. I believe that the photos looked better after using the apps to edit them because a lot of the offers from the app allowed you do brightness, enhance, color, sharpen , etc. the photo. 4. I would personally suggest other students to use this app because it is free :) and it also offers way more then some other apps offer, and also the quality is better 5. If I could do this project over again, I would most likely try to dedicate the project to only one kind of photography, for example, landscaping, so that I can focus more on how the app would help each kind of photography individually.

Richard Avadon Blog Post (MOVIE)
Richard Avadon was born on May 15th, 1923. He grew up in Manhattan and his mother had influenced his love for the theatre while he was very young. He started his photography career in the early 1950s and became very well known. He was best known for fashion and portrait photography because he was able to capture so many new aspects of photography using new knowledge. He eventually won the Hasselblad Award after being in the career for a long time. He was able to capture the rare emotion and a unique essence of his subjects that many other photographers during that time failed to do. One of his most known photos was called Snake Photography, and he was able to sell 2 million copies of that photo in the US!! Eventually Avadon died on October 1st, 2004 and his pieces are still greatly admired.

Self Directed Shoot #4 post #5 self portraits reflection
1. Self Directed Shoot #4 self portraits 2. For this assignment, I shot all the photos over the weekend. I decided to use a mirror for most of them to capture important aspects of the photos. 3. Something that worked well was focusing on the water spots on the mirror and blurring out the background. This was my favorite picture I took because I love how I was blurred in the background to add mystery to the photo. 4. Something that was hard to achieve for this assignment was using the camera in the mirror and trying to look off in the distance with my head because I didn't know if the camera was pointed in the right direction or not. 5. From this shoot, I learned how to efficiently use props for a photo and how to angle them just right to get a good outcome . 6. Next time, I would probably want to have a more interesting background in the photo. In a lot of the photos, there is wood in the background, but I could get really creative to make the picture stand out.
