Oh, I actually have a New Century Version! I've had it since I was little so it's also called an International Children's Bible, but it's not oversimplified or anything, just translated in a way that's a bit easier to understand. And the cover is this nicely textured purple. I love it so much!

Should be no problem with getting a blue shirt. “Got any mediums left in blue?” She asked as she looked at the two camp counselors. Seeing how both of their smiles faded. “We have blue for boys..” the red haired girl said with a forced smile.
