    According to the National Congregational Study Survey, there are an estimated 380,000 churches in the U.S.  Yet, we are one of the darkest nations on the planet!  Why is this?  I’ll tell you why. Because the church is in the pews, and not in the street.  While we are huddled in our “church” buildings singing our cute little songs and practicing our beloved rituals, the world outside is going to hell in a hand-basket.  Are you surprised?  You shouldn’t be! Reality check folks...if we’re gonna have any impact on the direction this nation is going today, we’re gonna have to get our butts out of the pews and into the street.  It’s our responsibility to take Christ to a dying world.  They’re not gonna come to us!
