Poster
I changed the layout/ design of the poster as I was struggling with the perspective in the original ideas, so now it's more of a straight on view.
In the middle of deciding between two layouts, 2 a3 posters, one for elements, one for writing. And one big a2

In Class Review #1
Feedback I received Reorganise the numbering of each item, currently it is numbered all over the place in correlation to the poster
Reword some of the explanations, they go over 50 words
Some of the explanations are missing titles
For the report, using more academic style words, lots of 'me' and 'I'
Link my points together, at the moment I just have points that relate to a question, find a way to tie them together
Feedback I gave to Seb
Experiment with the colours a bit more, some of the darker colours merge together and you can't see the difference.
Add writing to the poster

Words for Poster
Rocks are a bit of an obscure item to choose however I have used these as a canvas for many years, my first art projects were rock paintings.
Glass frog I have a small obsession with frogs, this is the latest frog item I have received, it was a gift from my mum. It currently sits on top of my PC in my view. I am in contact with it everyday and I think it's just a neat little thing, I love collecting little guys or creatures that I like to look at in my free time
Framed Family Photo Family means a lot to me, this is a photo of my cousins and I. There’s a sense of nostalgia as we aren’t often in the same room anymore.
My PC definitely means a lot to me, I spend nearly all of my free time using it, whether I be playing videogames, chatting online, watching movies, or creating digital pieces of work. It’s my way of staying connected to the online world.
Headphones I am always listening to music. I find that music helps to get rid of other distractions if I can focus on the sounds.
Camera This is the camera I use when taking photos, it used to be my mum's but then she gave it to me when I started studying at Uni so I could use it for my minor.
MTG cards This year my brother convinced me to start playing Magic the Gathering, it is definitely something that I have started to enjoy, it's also a way that I get to spend time with my brother as we have grown apart in the past few years
Moth - Sonsational Creations This was a creature that I bought at Armaggedon from Sonsational Creations. - Sonja Howard is a Queer Autistic artist from Australia. I chose this creature from all her work as the colours matched the Asexual Flag which is part of my queer identity.
This is a clock that my parents bought me when they were in New York, this is because when I was a kid I used to be obsessed with cats(this obsession has since been replaced with frogs). But I think it looks so cool and retro, and it sits above my monitor at my desk so I look at it everyday.
I collect a lot of brass with my Nanan, it is something that we bond over, and the collection is in the hundreds. There is a large range of items from small animals, to random items like coat hangers and bells
This is more of a motif or a symbol rather than a physical object, but this is in relation to my Nanan as well as my culture. I am part Cook Island and so I have always seen hibiscus around the house, whether it be the hibiscus plant or the motif in paintings and art
This was something that I made in design class in year 9, but because of my love for animals I felt that it would work as one of my 20 items, I designed the shape and made a casting out of MDF and burnt pewter to make the shape, I also sanded and polished it. It's something small and cute and It's really cool that I can say that I made it myself.
This toy actually means a lot to me because I purchased it on a family trip to Singapore, I had been looking for a kermit the frog toy for months and I had found it randomly walking into a store in Haji Lane.
My dad is a pilot, but also planes mean a lot because they symbolize travel, and that was a big thing for my family, we used to go traveling a lot so I thought this would be a good item to include in the poster.
Graphic Design Books These are some books that I’ve collected over the past two years when studying communication design, I refer to them when doing work but I also sometimes read them because I find the topics quite interesting
Microphone This means a lot to me because it is how I communicate with my online friends who have been a huge presence in my life, even if some of them live halfway across the world they still mean a lot to me.
Starry Night is my favourite painting, and one of my hobbies is to build Lego, I felt it was only right to include this as it merges my creative side with my one of my hobbies
Drawing Tablet, This is the tool I used to actually create this poster, I’ve had this tablet for a few years and I find it very helpful in my designs
