SHARDS OF GOLD... Another abstract acrylic painting built around a simple geometric lattice. When I start these pieces, I sometimes have no idea where I want them to go. But slowly as the layers go on and the paint dries, the different layers begin to add the detail and create depth. I could use exactly the same colours and apply them in exactly the same way, but they would not be the same.
