To the Terror Camp Community

Hello, I am a photography/art student at a University in Germany and I plan to do this for a university course.

For some time now I have been considering doing a creative project that shows how creative works & fandoms can inspire people to learn/research new things, sometimes to the degree that it becomes a whole new passion separated from what inspired it in the first place.

I am planning to focus primarily on the "new" interest itself (and the persons journey with/towards it), more than the creative work/fandom that got the ball rolling in the first place.

This idea formed because many times in the past - in all kinds of different fandoms - I found myself hours deep into a research rabbit hole because I wanted to check something for a fanfic wip or someone else mentioned something and just kept digging because I found it very interesting aside from it's fandom relevance.

I know that similar experiences aren't uncommon in fandom spaces and I just found that interesting! So my brain was like:

"You could make an art project out of this"

As I joined the Terror Fandom this year and plan to attend my first @terrorcamp in December, I thought that maybe some people involved with / interested in it might both fit the bill and be interested/willing to help me and be part of this project.

So I am looking for a few people I could interview online and at least one person - who lives somewhere I would be able to travel to in Europe - to do both an interview and creative photo shooting with.

Any resulting photos would be given to the person and they will be free to use them however they want. And of course I wouldn't use any photos for my project that they would veto.
