NexoWeek 6/14 - Favourite Character + Underrated Character!

Surprise to absolutely no one, my favourite is Clay. Axl is definitely a favourite too, he’s really underrated in the show itself-

Just a ramble below-

My design for Axl isn’t fully finished, I’m still bouncing around ideas. I’m trying to practice different body types and muscle, so the anatomy isn’t exactly perfect-

My design for Clay IS though, and I’m pretty happy with it (I’ll eventually draw out reference sheets for all the Knights-) The glove is an idea I had for awhile, it’s designed by Ava and Merlok to help suppress a small amount of Clay’s magic so it doesn’t explode out randomly. It’s made to look like a falconer glove, one, to stay on his bird of prey theme, and two, so it isn’t overly obvious what its purpose is.

-> Goggles' house is very traditionally Japanese and he takes care of his grandmother when she gets unwell.

-> Goggles is also Aroace, he tends to THINK he has feelings for somebody but they tend to disappear pretty quickly.

-> Rider has Ophidiophobia (fear of snakes), yet loves seeing them from a very.. far distance.

-> Blazer tends to be late to team training, this is because she gets caught up in school and completely forgets Rider, Stealth and Bamboo are waiting for her.

OPENING

"I grew up surrounded by music, my parents both made music together and even taught me how to do it too. They made a song together, and gave it to me in the form of a music box when I turned twelve .. but now they're both gone. and it's all my fault.."

"They're gone.. they're both gone." Clay mumbled, sitting in his bedroom with the moonlight seeping through the gaps in the curtains. "It's all my fault.. if I had just waited.." He muttered as he stood up and walked over to the monitor.

"Dad said I made a tune that made him happy.. as if it gave him a sense of hope. Mom said that too.." He looked at the music box which was rotating, playing a soft melody. "Perhaps.. I can do the same for others.. maybe then I can experience what mom and dad felt with my music."

"Maybe.. this way I'll find my sense of hope.. again."

"Ngh.. no this doesn't feel right.." The brunette teenager grumbled, clearly frustrated that something was going wrong with the song. "Why isn't this working.."

As he was arranging things differently, a message suddenly popped up in the corner of his monitor screen from one of his circle members.

Lance - Hey Clay, sorry to throw this on to you so quickly.. but I finally finished some song lyrics that would be good for the next song.

Lance was one of the first people who listened to Clay's songs, and then suddenly asked if he could assist by writing music lyrics. It was a lot more helpful then Clay worrying about doing everything at the same time.

>> Yeah, thank you. I'll make sure to give them a look once I've found the correct rhythm for this..

Lance - That would be great, let me know if you need any support for it, okay? >> Yeah, will do.

He groaned as he pulled his headphones off of his head, still frustrated that he couldn't get the song right. Maybe he was hungry? He hadn't eaten since earlier that afternoon.. maybe that was putting him off.

As he stood up, another popup appeared in the corner of his monitor. Something he hadn't recognised before, perhaps a song he forgot to organise? Or hadn't finished considering the song was labelled as "Untitled"

"Hm, that's weird.. I can't remember having a song like this.." He spoke gently, as he put his headphones back on and sat back down again to try and remember what song he was composing, or if it was just some virus he might've unknowingly downloaded.

Things felt different.. everything around him, yet the music he heard gave him a sickening feeling. It felt familiar, as memories he wanted to bury away and forget were seemingly coming back.

"This song.. where am I.." The place looked like a train tunnel, empty with nothing but floor lights guiding the never ending path ahead. Stars that dangled from seemingly nowhere, and memories printed on the walls as if they were freshly taken pictures.

"I was in my bedroom a minute ago.. how did I end up here?" He mumbled, as a figure came close to him. Making him jump slightly as the sound of actually hearing somebody that wasn't his uncle or the student from Kamiyama that came to ensure he was eating properly.

"Clay.. I'm glad we finally get to meet." It was a blue haired girl, with stars holding up her low ponytails. She was wearing a black dress, covered with a white jacket that sloped off of her right shoulder.

"I know this feels confusing, but this place was made by you.. your feelings.. but also his feelings." She spoke gently, as Clay stayed silent and didn't dare to utter a word.

"You need to help him Clay.." She continued, as if Clay truly understood what was going on. "He too.. needs to find his light.. his hope once again."

".. I don't understand.. who?.. who are you?"

"You will know in due time Clay.. but please.. help him towards the light."

Clay nodded reluctantly, unsure of what to say. Was he dreaming? What was she talking about..

"I hope we meet again Clay, promise?"

There was a bright light, as Clay lifted his head from the keyboard of his monitor. Looking around his bedroom and wondering what the dream he just had meant, he wasn't sure if it was real.. the girl he saw-

Lance - Clay? Are you okay? You started sending a bunch of random letters to me.. are you sleeping properly?

>> Ah, I'm okay Lance.. I must have drifted off.. don't worry about me.

He sat awaiting a response.. thinking about who the dream girl was talking about. Who needed guiding towards the light, what did any of it mean?

"I guess I'll have to work harder.. to help him find the missing hope. Maybe saving him.. will save me too."
