¡Welcome to the Cuban Revolution!
Tumblr media
This blog is dedicated to present you interesting historical insights, stories, timelines and photos of the Cuban Revolution and the men and women behind it. It's about a fight that was like David against Goliath – a dictator with a whole police state and army behind his back versus a bunch of young, idealistic people, who started off a guerilla war in the jungle and ended in celebrating their victory in Havanna.
"Revolutions rarely, if ever, emerge fully ripe, and not all their details are scientifically forseen. They are products of passion, of improvisation by human beings in their struggle for social change, and are never perfect. Our revolution was no exception." - Ernesto "Che" Guevara

Disclaimer: This is a history blog only. I do not engage in political discussions in any form, period. If you do not respect this and spread hate about me or this blog, i will block you without a warning.
I do care about the wellbeing the Cuban people and as an outside european observer i fully support the protests against the illegal occupation of Guantánamo Bay, as well as the US blockade policy against Cuba.
