returning with my strong music headcanons/opinions to say that 'the growlers' are my definitive aftg soundtrack. if I were to direct an aftg film trilogy (ANIMATED ofc) they would make up the majority of the song selections. someone somewhere described their sound as 'beach goth' and i think that best sums it up. if you read with music, i highly recommend playing their discography in the background of your next read through. if you want to get started listening to them with aftg on the brain, i have 'magnificent sadness' and 'blood of a mutt' on my neil playlist, and 'dull boy,' 'black memories,' 'night ride,' and a few other selections on my andrew playlist.
