[PT: Experiences event. End PT]

This is an event encouraging people to share their experiences with their identities! It's focused around microlabels but can be used to discuss any aspect of identity, including but not limited to gender, race, plurality, disability, and so on.

This is not a coining event, and you do not need to be a coiner to participate! Participation just involves making a post each day of the event discussing your experiences and identity with the prompt provided. Tag us in your posts and we'll reblog them here under the "experiences" tag!

This event starts on January 29 and ends on February 11, meaning there are 14 days to it. It's completely okay to skip a day or do them all at once.

Edit: We originally said February 12, but it is actually ending February 11.

Prompts:

How do you organize or categorize your identity? If you don't, why don't you?

What are your experiences with names, pronouns, and other referential language? How does it relate or not relate to other aspects of your identity?

Talk about either your favourite identity term of yours or a random one that applies to you! Why is it a part of your identity, how does it apply to you?

How do you express your identity through your behaviour or clothing? How does this relate to your identity? If you don't currently, would you like to in the future?

Talk about some sort of transition you've had or would like to have!

wanted to reblog with the final results, was interesting to see! overall - from this small sample - seems folks don't mind the hourglass, though some do prefer or would prefer to use something else, and a few don't like it at all. i'd love to hear or see other symbols for ocd! i know the ouroboros was mentioned in the replies which i love :)

been thinking about this for awhile and finally wanted to make a post on this. almost three years ago now (woah!) i posted the ocd symbol. the reception has been incredible and i'm very grateful! however, in hindsight i wish i had collaborated with more people in the community to see if others enjoyed the symbol as well before going ahead with it. basically, i want to see folks opinions on this symbol as a representative for ocd! please vote only if you feel ocd (or oc-spec) represents something you experience (regardless of diagnosis or severity).

The Axolotl

The Axolotl: a Ficto-Religion related to the Axolotl from Gravity Falls.

There are no strict set of beliefs or practices within this religion, anyone may consider themself within it if it feels fitting. However, it may include beliefs or practices surrounding:

Recovery, Therapy, Axolotls, Multiple dimensions, Gravity Falls, etc

ID: on the left there is a vertical 5 striped flag with a symbol in the middle. The symbol in the middle is a diamond shaped sparkle that has a light red outline and the inside of the symbol is white. The first stripe on the left is a light purple with a blueish tint. The second stripe is a lightish grey. The third stripe is white. The fourth stripe is a pastel yellow. The fifth stripe is a pastel redish orange. The flag on the right is the same colors but without the symbol in the middle. End ID

Objectsic is an objectum term for when you are both objectum and POSIC+. This is meant to be the opposite counter part for Objectix (being objectum without object sentience) and a modifier for general objectum terms. Objectsic is object and the end of posic (sic) together. Specific terms under this term can use -sic as a suffix. For example, plushum can become plushsic.

Flag meaning:

The flag is inspired by both the POSIC+ and objectum flags and their meanings.

Purple represents physical objects

Grey represents conceptual and non tangible objects

White represents animism and spirituality

Yellow represents object sentience or "life"

Orange represents object love and the relationships with them

The symbol in the middle is ment to be like a star while still being simple enough to be similar to the orginal objectum circle. And of course the color of the star outline is a nod to the objectum community.
