                    there’s nothing derek DESPISES more than having to return to this wretched town. if he had his way, he never would. the LOFT had been sold on, the lower levels having been converted to apartments & sold individually for profit. there was NOTHING here for him, save for scott, he supposes. ( he WISHES the kid would stop calling because he CAN’T say no when he’s begged to come back. ) breathing still a little heavy as ADRENALINE pumps through the alpha’s veins, chest heaving as he studies the CORPSES surrounding them. all still breathing, he made sure of it.  ❝ if you want me to answer HONESTLY, you won’t like it, ❞ he tells him, crimson hues fading to their usual hazel as his gaze shifts to the younger, brows furrowing. a form of DYSMORPHOPHOBIA is something he’s struggled with since he first turned, though he’d been raised believing he was human until the transitions THRUST themselves on him when he was fifteen. ( long story short, he’s the WRONG person to ask. )  ❝ everything has it’s DOWNFALLS as much as it has it’s benefits, ❞ he says then, tongue lacing the inside of his cheek.  ❝ our IMMUNITY & ability to heal means we have to make sacrifices. there’s ALWAYS a price to pay, you know ?? ❞

     scott half believes that everything happens for a reason. the other half believes that everything happens because you make it happen. he doesn’t know what to think but he knows that the bite is irreversible and it’s better to stick it out then to waste time wishing you were something else. he also knows that derek despises beacon hills and he would do anything not to come back to this weird town, but more often than not scott needs him. they’re bonded whether they like it or not, they’re best friends whether derek wants it or not.      ❛ sometimes i wish i wasn’t like this. my mom could stop worrying, i wouldn’t have to deal with nearly getting murdered every other day... but then i think about lydia... she would’ve had to suffer through all of this alone. she’s a banshee because she was born that way, not because she was bitten... or even liam. he would’ve died if i didn’t bite him. ❜     maybe he would be dead too if he wasn’t bitten. maybe stiles should’ve been bitten instead, he might have handled everything a lot better.
