MAD AS HELL is SoulMuppet's next TTRPG, coming early next year.
This is an RPG of anti-capitalist demonhunting. Play as Radicals, members of various Communities, banding together to fight the literal demons of capitalism.
Written by Evie Moriarty with art from Per Norden, Scrap Princess and Alex Eckman-Lawn.
You know the truth now, and you can't look away. All the misery, oppression, and horror of capitalism and the modern world, it's creating demons. Literal demons crawl from wounds in the world and hunt those who are already suffering the most. And the rich and powerful know about it, and they want it that way because it keeps them top of the pile.
No more. It's time for radicals to band together, hunt the literal demons of capitalism, and then undo the evils that made them. It's time to put those demon-deal making fucks who are living rich on our pain to the torch, and stop this shit once and for all.

Hey, remember GONCHAROV? I just saw this paper:
“Goncharov (1973), Internet Folklore, and Corporate Copyright”
https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=4776768
Abstract
Goncharov (1973) is a meme – an especially rich, complex, collaborative, and mutating one. It revolves around a movie that doesn’t exist: Goncharov, a fictional Martin Scorsese film that the internet decided to collectively pretend had been made in 1973. Over the course of a few feverish weeks in the fall of 2022, a variety of social media users, with no coordination and without knowing anything about each other or the overall project, created a cast, a storyline, a soundtrack, reviews, fanfiction, and a promotional poster. And they did it all for free. Actually, they did it all for fun – a concept foreign to copyright law’s idea of creativity.
This Article uses the Goncharov meme to illustrate exactly how much copyright law doctrines have been developed to support a narrow, corporate conception of copyright. Copyright law depends heavily on an understanding of creativity as an economic venture mediated by contractual relationships. Sprawling collaborative and unmonetized memes like the Goncharov meme sit uneasily in the system, likely uncopyrightable as a type of folklore. However, positioning a meme like Goncharov as the equivalent of public domain folklore leaves the meme vulnerable to financial exploitation by others. This Article uses the vehicle of Goncharov to ask whether such a result is what copyright law should support, or whether we should rethink how we treat the new traditional knowledge being developed daily by our creative culture. This Article argues that copyright law dangerously focuses attention on a very small slice of human creativity, leaving huge amounts of creativity devalued as undeserving of legal protection. This hierarchy paints a watered-down picture of creativity. Creativity, as can be seen just in the single example of the Goncharov meme, is so much more complex, multi-faceted, unpredictable, and interesting than the law posits. As we prepare to grapple with machine-generated creativity that may challenge copyright assumptions, we shouldn’t forget the vast swaths of human-created creativity that also challenge those assumptions.

Like, I'd be lying if I said I was into fucked up yuri RPGs purely for the game mechanics, but it's unavoidably true that Tumblr lesbians as a demographic are doing some of the most innovative rules design the tabletop roleplaying hobby has seen in years. That this often means we're getting fucked up yuri and novel ways to abuse big stupid dice tables in one convenient package is more of a fun bonus.

Love and hate are just two sides of obsession.
Toxic Sword Lesbians fight their shared enemies when they’re not fighting each other. They know they shouldn’t say something hurtful or give in to escape over responsibility, but they do. They lash out over disagreements on ideals and on expectations. They give in to their worst self-destructive impulses. And then they pick themselves up off the ground and go help their loved ones, because that’s the right thing to do.
Toxic Sword Lesbians is a game for telling stories about the most awful women you can make up to love, which is to say: it's a hack for telling spicier, more emotionally fraught stories in Thirsty Sword Lesbians. In it, you'll find the following tools for Making Her (Your Character) Worse:
Tailored GM and player agendas for running the game
Updated core moves
New Sex and Intimacy moves for each playbook
New relationship questions and GM moves for each playbook
More evil Truths of Heart and Blade
Recommended TSL-official settings and scenarios for running Toxic Sword Lesbians
Four new settings that highlight the fraught nature of many aspects of queer identity
Custom mechanics for experiencing body horror, monstrous hunger, and being put through an isekai timeloop

"...And that’s one of the reasons why you play the baddies, however you want to categorise that: to learn, to understand, and to draw parallels and connections. You do it because it’s a safe space in which to see the consequences of a murderous genocidal stupid regime, without you having to, you know, actually participate in one. You do it because if we learn through playing, maybe when it happens again we understand it better and can stop it sooner."

If you like this fun exercise, learn more about the crowdfunding campaign happening now!
Learn more about your house further below! Does it suit you?
House of Celestials
The skies borrow from the elements to paint a backdrop for life. Featuring iconography of the sun, moon, and constellations, celestials are known for their inner glow. Still, they do not shy away from the dark surrounding them, understanding that all things require balance. Students in this house often carry at least one or more of these marks: discipline, passion, or indifference. This dorm overlooks the lake.
House of Dahlias
Dahlias rely on the energy of celestial bodies for growth and endurance. As a vibrant flower, dahlias are a symbol of elegance and devotion. The plant may seem abundant, but it requires careful nurturing in the wet and cold climate of Brackroot. Students in this house often carry at least one or more of these marks: creativity, perfectionism, or obsessiveness. This dorm is connected to the greenhouse.
House of Panthers
The panther needs a garden to rest from its daily stroll, and the dahlias always supply. The panther is a symbol of grace, athletics, and agility but still elusive and rare — a fierce creature of the shadows. Students in this house often carry at least one or more of these marks: observation, punctuality, or ruthlessness. This dorm is at the edge of the forest.
House of Spires
The spires are only safe in their tower because of the panthers who keep guard. The House of Spires represents the connection blades, pens, and spirituality share. While members of this house may only show interest or aptitude in one of the represented icons, they are a full member of the spire. Students in this house often carry at least one or more of these marks: empathy, isolation, or judgment. This dorm is in the high tower.
House of Elements
Elements are the wildest of the quintet, but they maintain control with help from the spires. The elements symbolize excess and power, but together, they represent the strength of unity. Students in this house often carry at least one or more of these marks: cleverness, hunger, or negligence. This dorm is under the school, but furnished with enchanted windows that overlook the neighboring mountains.
House of None
Accessible by only walking along the edge of a bridge in the right invisible spot, students in the House of None often think of themselves as beyond reality. These thoughts only worsen the more they understand magic on cosmic and atomic scales. Students in this house are often detached, cold, and fiercely intelligent Symbols commonly associated with this house include the number zero, a black hole, a vortex, lanterns, and knots.
House of Divines
Hidden beneath the campus Chapel and graveyard, this house was annexed centuries ago for blatant misuse of dark magic. Some stories claim this house serves as the birthplace for demons and vampires. Whatever the reason for the House's former eradication, blood stains remain in the foundation. Students in this house are often vengeful, patient, and not above harming others to get what they want. Symbols commonly associated with this house include blood, fruit, teeth, bones, claws, horns.

played with nothing more than this pdf, and a willingness to dive into each other’s answers, the two players of this game will create an evocative and rich story, drawing together the past, present, and future of each character.
(the farmer and the bog body is available for $3USD)
'bog body, watching’ is a drawing game about change, rot, and legacy. you play as a body in a bog, watching the world change around you, while you remain deep within the peat of your wetland. explore how the things you once knew are different now, in the changing years following your burial in the bog.

it sucks so bad that 'lightning magic' in every media is just some pathetic little strands of electricity. i wanna see some LIGHTNING. show me a magic setting where lightning magic lights up a room like the sun, and the bolt is only visible as an afterimage burned into your vision. I wanna see someone cast lightning and have the thunder rattling the room and shaking everyone to their core. i want lightning magic to be a split second blast of so much power it leaves everyone's senses reeling. c'mon guys don't you know what real lightning looks like? we can be doing so much better than this.
