things i’ve gotten in trouble with my father for since coming back for break from college pt 2

- the lawnmower he left in the rain not working

- cooking dinner for the whole family

- his side years turning itself into a bog

- being lazy

- mowing his lawn

- wanting to make an oven roast as the side for dinner i’m cooking

- the cucumbers he bought over a month ago going moldy

- wanting to shower

- everything being “too much for anyone to do” and so he has to “do everything”

- being concerned about the puking sounds coming from outside my window

- cleaning his house

- not cleaning his house

- being here

- not being here

- being in therapy when i’m he suddenly decided he wanted to do the fafsa

- being lazy

- not taking the dog out in my pajamas and a pair of flip flops

- trying to mow the whole lawn like he wanted my sister to do

- not knowing where my brother put his baseball hat a week before i got back

- have i mentioned being lazy ???

and my father is a narcissist! growing up him and i were close but as i got older we’ve really begun to drift apart and he’s been getting way more controlling ! my blog is to help cope and to try and see the comedy in his actions , you are free to laugh at my own situations ! please do not laugh at the situations of others !

NOT ALL NARCISSISTS ARE BAD PEOPLE ! NARCISSISM IS SOMETHING THAT CAN BE DIAGNOSED AND AFFECTS THE PERSON WHO HAS IT TOO! THAT PERSON CAN ALSO BE A VICTIM ! THE DIFFERENCE IS HOW THE PERSON ACTS AND TREATS OTHERS. NOT ALL NARCISSISTS ARE ABUSERS JUST LIKE HOW NOT ALL ABUSERS ARE NARCISSISTS.

with this in mind i am simply using the label that my therapist gave me ! this is my coping mechanism! everyone deserves love and to be treated like a human, no matter what their diagnosis may say!

things i gotten in trouble for since getting home from college (by my narcissist father) pt 1

- using more than one dish when cooking a meal from scratch for my family

- my younger brother misplaced his baseball jersey a week before i came home

- only he ever takes the dog out (i’ve taken the dog out several times since getting home, he’s done so once)

- him trashing the house ! (he would never /s)

- not knowing where my sister was !

- the sink full of dishes from before i got home

- him not properly doing his portion of the fafsa

- being out at the store helping my sister find a dress for her ceremony after he said the last one was too revealing

- choosing to not stay in town long enough to vote on a matter for his work place ! (i had no clue !!!!!!!)
