Natsume had always disliked PE class (well school in general but that's beside the point), especially with his loathing for the occasional swimming lesson they needed to do. Thank the gods that he wasn't doing exactly that today, not that it made it any better.

Here he was in the gym, standing by the sidelines with his ears being greeted upon by the screeching movements from those among the court.

Natsume's eyes were following a certain ginger-haired boy, Baru — as Natsume liked to call him, as he dribbled around the court with the basketball.

Unlike Subaru who wore the usual jersey he would have from the Basketball Club, most of the ones having class here were just wearing their PE uniform, just a white shirt and black pants that had some areas colored by their year color: Blue.

Most sports Natsume didn't really see the point in, to him it usually were just people who ran around like aimless ducks while chasing some form of projectile.

Just then as the teacher called for a break, Natsume saw you walking into the gym with a bag. Immediately he slinked his way over to your side as you had opened the bag to hand out some water bottles and towels.

"Mind if I grabbed one botTLE, Kitten?" He asked, raising his eyebrows.

You went and offered him one, "Oh you can have one, Natsume-kun, these are for everyone after all," You replied with a nod. "Help yourself!"

"GladLY~" Natsume smiled at you as he took the water bottle, unscrewing the cap and taking a sip.

Once he finished, you looked at him and tilted your head. "Are you going to be playing?" You asked.

"Unfortunately so, I opted out of basketball but they seemed to have signed me up for volleyball inSTEAD," He grumbled.

That was the real reason he was idling around here. Usually he would have snuck out given the chance, but today his presence on the court was mandated. He was able to pass all his other subjects with flying colors as they were usually just assignments or idol activities but this— "For an idol schOOL, you'd think they would have dancing as an option of which sport to perFORM..."

"I usually never see you in class, so it's a surprise to see you here. Good luck in your match later maybe you'll enjoy it," You told him.

In the midst of his complaining, a smirk had lifted his lips. "PerHAPS...Maybe hearing my Kitten cheering me on would make me feel betTER~"

"Huh..?" You blurted out.

Natsume only leaned closer, "It's only natural to cheer on a classmate of yourS, isn't iT?" He grinned.

"O-Of course.."
