When BoJack Horseman (2014-2020) said "you can't keep doing shitty things and then feel bad about yourself like that makes it ok. you need to be better" and "all we have are the connections we make" and "I really should've thought about the view from halfway down" and "sometimes you have to take responsibility for your own happiness" and "you do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around, you turn yourself around, THAT'S what it's all about" and "things have to get worse before they can get better" and "in real life, the big gesture isn't enough, you need to be consistent" and "if we hadn't met each other until now, we wouldn't be the people we are now" and, my personal favourite, "every day it gets a little easier, but you gotta do it every day, that's the hard part, but it does get easier".

Anyone who ever said the key to life is always having something to look forward to is so right . The days are so much brighter when there’s always something to look forward to

One reason why I can never leave tumblr is that the other day I was reading a 19th-century children's book to my little cousins and I started feeling that there was a lot of lesbian subtext between two of the kids' mothers in this book. And the next day I went on google like "I can't possibly be the only one who noticed—" and I found... 1 result. Just one. 1 person in the whole world had something to say about the lesbian subtext in this classic French children's book and this person was a) on tumblr, b) someone who follows me on here! What would I do without this website? I wouldn't be sending screencaps on a random Friday night of adorable gay moments between two mum characters in a French children's novel from 1858 to the only internet stranger who gets me, and that would be a shame

I am a friend to all cats. Yes even the mean ones. They have their reasons.
