i don't get why google is distinguishing this cheese shop as being "LGBTQ+ friendly".

it should be a common rule as a shop in general to be friendly and hospitable towards every one of your customers, whether that's LGBT OR straight people(provided they aren't being actively harmful like screaming for the manager or threatening violence against an employee of a different race. and even if they admit to having negative traits like being part of a harmful faction while not actively threatening people, that doesn't mean that you have to not serve them, but rather simply tell them that they are wrong, and move onto business matters).

also, why does the shop being women-owned matter? this feels a little sexist, in a reversed sort of way. i know that women are under fire in some areas, but it is common sense that both men and women should get equal treatment. but this? this is basically google unintentionally encouraging others to buy from women-owned shops more than other shops.

all i'm saying is... TREAT EVERYONE EQUALLY. buy from whatever shops you like, and serve every one of your customers equally.

i saw my friend escaping a blue shell on one of his MKW streams once.

it is atrocious that the CPU is actually ALLOWED to do so, as well.

In modern Mario Kart series games, an advanced technique to escape a Spiny Shell is to use a Mushroom with extremely precise timing after the Spiny Shell prepares to hit.

this needed to be posted by me.

right now i am struggling. i have been waiting for god to put allies with mutual interests into my life(conservative christian fans of monster girls/monster tale/ETC.), work in the lives of the people i pray for, follow up a previous blessing that felt like the start of something special, and even help me conquer my fear of ratings. but i feel like none of that is going to happen.

but then i saw this. a toddler scampering to hug the local pizza delivery guy and it touching him deeply. a simple act that paid off tremendously without the toddler even knowing it.

when i saw the thumbnail... i remembered something i did. i spontaneously told a jewish guy at a kosher store yesterday that jesus loved him, and also told a black guy at a kroger's today that jesus loved him too.

even the smallest of our actions have the potential to change entire lives. and many people go about their days never realizing this. there is actually a bible verse that (partially) alludes to this principle- Matthew 4:30-32, the one that talks about mustard seeds. you might think it's weird to compare heaven to a mustard seed, but that is not what the kingdom of heaven is. the kingdom of heaven is simply god's influence on this planet.

so what does that mean? when you hug the pizza guy, you are planting a mustard seed. when you tell a random stranger that jesus loves him, you're planting one too.

i have made mistakes in the past. i was harsh and rude to others, and sometimes i even sent fricked up content online. but god has been working on my heart, and is helping me grow into a better person.

and now, with this youtube video here to remind me that even the smallest action can change lives... it's gonna be worth it.

ok i just realized something

so basically, i have known about this anti-animo cards blogpost for a while now, and the dude references a post from the game's creators saying "our kids got interested in a game with magic, mild violence, and psychic powers" without saying what game it was(but he insisted that it was pokemon they were talking about).

here's why that's wrong.

first of all, the game's creator(not a friend of the creator... THE CREATOR HIMSELF)... is a fricking zelda fan. yes, you heard me right, a ZELDA fan. and that game franchise is RIFE with all sorts of mild mysticism(deities, fantasy magic, ETC.), similar to pokemon.

AND, he loves zelda to the extent that HE MADE AN OCARINA ANIMO!!!

2. a rare gyarados card can also be seen in a promotion for animo. accounting for the fact that the creators got this far making this game that was inspired by another, more iffy TCG, i think it's safe to say that that gyarados card in the background is a sign they're chill with pokemon, as they wouldn't have the card for so long if they were against the franchise.

but if the TCG's not pokemon, what is it???

3. well, let's run down the evidence.

3.1. in animo, you use powers to provide energy for animo to be played. unlike pokemon, where the powers are attached to the active pokemon, the powers are in a special spot where they can be activated, then be deactivated at the end of the turn. this is similar to MTG's Lands system, which also have a designated area and "untap" rule. note the battlefield playing mat below with multiple sun and water cards.

3.2. in animo, there are these characters called truth seekers that are active constantly from the game's beginning, and also utilize an unique special ability. i bet you can't guess what they're based off of...

3.3. and, animo cards have types of "faith, hope, love, spirit", ETC, which help with fellowship bonuses, and also act as targets for abilities. this is similar to how MTG's subtypes provide targets for abilities.

so, i don't think animo was trying to take a jab at pokemon.
