this one gave me trouble, what with the sudden switch in mediums

but it is here. and i release it earlier to u than i do for myself, cuz it's meant to be a gift to myself at the end of the week. i'm scheduled for a really frightening procedure they'll be doing on me awake and thought it might help if i had something to stare at afterwards while im recovering. hence why my leg stars in this painting (love her)

currently reading: Scott Pilgrim! i just need to read the last book but i've been putting it off bc i read my boyfriend's copies and he got the last one signed by Bryan Lee O'Malley and i'm too nervous to take it home with me

last song: Black - Pete Yorn (been a little obsessed w him lately)

last movie: Scott Pilgrim! I had to show my dad because he had NEVER SEEN IT?? i'm not really a movie person but it's become one of my favs for sure (my boyfriend's fault)

last series: adventure time! and star trek tos. predictably

sweet, savory, salty: all of them! sweet and salty for the win though

craving: this really good chai at a really cute bakery on my bf's side of town,,, i'm not usually a huge chai person but this one was SO good im making him take me there as soon as i get to his place (currently on the light rail going there lol). i'm gonna try it w almond syrup this time

tea/coffee: TEA 100% i love all kinds of milk tea, tea lattes, tea with fruit, all of it. matcha, black tea, and oolong (especially with peach) are my current favorites.

YAAAY yay i have one (1) fun wip rn because finals season is kicking my ASS and it's just my figure drawing final lol

It's a sketch of Michaelangelo's nudo virile that I have to turn into some sort of robot thing and I have BIG plans for him. Gonna cut open the chest to make some little mini botany stations with star trek plants inside and an inner water filtration system. Got a LOT of work still to do on it but I'm pretty happy so far! The only other things I'm working on are a t-test presentation for statistics and some ikea furniture </3

Here's a kinda janky WIP I'm drawing with Nick and my SoSu, Lin. I've just started digital drawing and have been trying to figure out what techniques I like. It makes many things much easier compared to traditional media, but makes others more complicated. Not sure about this shading, and not satisfied with the proportions, so I might never post the full finished piece but there you have it!

I've been thinking about trying my hand at screenprinting again and i rlly want to make a shirt of Spock in a similar style to this Kirk one i found on depop (for 90 fucking dollars 👎)

“Be there or be square” is such a stupid threat. No one knows what it means to be square. When I hear that, all I picture is hyper realistic minecraft Steve. Personally I like to hit them with “Show up or blow up.” There’s full clarity there. You will leave no one guessing.
