Heya! i’m a clueless beginner and trying to learn tips with digital art and something i really like that i notice you do is the zoom for quality thing? How do you achieve that hahah cuz whenever i upload my work it comes out shite quality

i’m actually not too sure what u mean, i’m pretty sure that all photos on tumblr should allow u to click on them to see them at a higher res?

but either way i don’t have any special trick, i just convert my art to a png and then upload it from there 🤷🏻‍♀️ i can only think that maybe u could try using a larger canvas in your program? i generally use anywhere between 2000x3000px to 5000x6000px with a high dpi. that means that the quality u see on my posts is actually significantly lower to what i see when i’m making it.

my pfp is not my photo hahaha i got it off pinterest (so that is not me on spotify sry) but i do also have a rug just like this one…so maybe i should take a photo of my own cats on it instead of stealing someone else’s

at the risk of being blatantly ignored and/or jumped on, i suggest we don't post any type of fanwork from february 19th to february 25th in solidarity with the global strike for palestine

i'm not saying stopping the production of fanwork will have any effect on the strike, but showing solidarity is important, and using this time to read and educate ourselves, maybe donate if we have the monetary capacity, seems like a sensible thing to do🩷

the palestinian red crescent released an audio recording of their emergency worker rana, who was on the phone with hind for over three hours, trying to keep her calm. she makes her recite the fatiha (one of the opening verses of the quran that all children know) and the sound of rana holding back tears as she tries to stay calm for hind, and hind's baby voice repeating after her dutifully is really breaking something in me. i am living, as we all are, but there is a part of me that will remember this and so many other things until the day i die.
