'Minecraft' Finally has a free Girl Character
Many girls play Minecraft, but you wouldn't recognize it from the default character options. Unless you've decided to shell out money or install a mod, your only option until now has been Steve, the game's male character. But now things are getting more interesting -it appears that Mojang is giving builders the option of a free girl character, Alex. Soundzpromising She's been around before as a randomly assigned character in the computer version, but the change will help female gamers on all platforms build their fantasy worlds with the character they are familiar with. Alex will be available for Xbox and PlayStation gamers starting April 29th. Mobile players using the Pocket Edition should get her this summer.
