Radical concept but have we considered sometimes men just fucking hate women and want them subservient and it isn’t a sign they’re secretly gay?

‘capitalism works’ factoid actually untrue. the 62 people who own half the world’s wealth are outliers and should be eaten.

(miso) soup for the soul
Mouse is home, sick and stuck on the couch, and he gets an entirely expected visitor. written based on a prompt (via text) from @kitweewoos
The sound of someone knocking on the apartment door was enough to make Mouse groan. It was too loud, adding fuel to the pounding behind his eyes. His instinctive reaction was to burrow into the blanket he'd brought to the couch with him when Jay left to go into the district.
He'd been alone in the living room for two hours, drifting in and out of consciousness in the blissful quiet. He wasn't foolish enough to think his fever had broken, not when he hadn't done anything to help it along. That would be something he could worry about if he still felt the same way after a series of naps. If he was still too miserable to move when Jay got home, he would allow his boyfriend to worry and fret as much as he wanted. Until then, he was supposed to have peace.
"Go'way…"
Mouse squirmed until he could roll over onto his stomach, muffling his voice further with the cushions. He thought he could wait out whoever decided to disrupt his plans for the day, bundle up until they gave up and walked away. For a brief moment, when the quiet returned, he let himself hope. He let the rare optimism seep into his bones and prepared to settle in for another restless nap. He shouldn't have.
