help shimaa purchase flour! (june 2025)

hello everyone! we at kfsf are back again with a fundraiser for shimaa (@itsshimaa200 on tumblr) and her family. shimaa is a friend of ours and we have raised money many times for her sake - please feel free to check out my #shimaa tag for updates and information, or check kfsf's website.

as some of you may know, gaza is suffering from repeated bombardment, famine, and now, attacks on aid distribution sites. people are struggling to afford basic necessities to survive.

we are hoping to help shimaa and her family purchase a bag of flour, which is currently extremely expensive. her family is large, and she has worked hard to provide for them - particularly her chronically ill nephew and her elderly grandmother. for a single bag of flour, the price is $1000, and the withdrawal fee from the atm in gaza is $45.

in total, we are hoping to raise $1045 as soon as possible so shimaa and her family can buy these supplies before prices increase further. and we would appreciate your support to reach this total! the easiest way to help us reach our goal is to donate using the link below:

how it works:

our team, kfsf, collects funds raised by you all into the paypal donation pool linked above. then one of our team members transfers it to ahmed in gaza (who helps take care of shimaa and her family.) he receives it via wire transfer, which takes between 3-5 days under normal circumstances.

once the money arrives, shimaa will take videos and photos to document that the donations were received and able to help her get what she needs.

if you have the funds, we would really appreciate it if you could donate to our fundraiser. no amount is too small - even $5 makes shimaa feel hopeful that we are advancing towards our goal. if you don't have the funds, no worries! you can still help us by reblogging this post and reposting it within your own circles. we want to get this to as many people as possible - and we need you to do it!

Hello, I won't take much of your time. I'll just say that we can no longer bear all this hunger, siege, and death. We're truly exhausted. I've written dozens of posts since my Tumblr debut. Many have supported and helped me, but many have also been opposed and abused by ruthless, unscrupulous, and Zionist people. What Strength Really Means 💪

Hey everyone, my name is Abdelmajed. I don’t usually talk much about myself, but today, I want to share a little piece of my story.

I was born and raised in Gaza, a place that has always been my home 🏡. I grew up surrounded by my family, my friends, and the streets that I knew like the back of my hand. Life wasn’t always easy, but we had love, laughter, and dreams. I used to think that no matter what happened, home would always be here. But life has a way of changing things in ways we never expect.

Over the past months, everything I once knew has disappeared. The streets that were once filled with children playing are now silent. The houses that held so many memories are now just rubble. And the people I loved—some of them are gone forever. 💔
