If you aren't already on team ACAB, after 3 years of corrupt investigation, Karen Read was just found not guilty of killing her cop boyfriend in Massachusetts.
Karen dropped her boyfriend John O'Keefe off at the home of fellow officers and when he died, she was placed as the suspect who "hit him with her car and left him for dead in the snow." The lead investigators? The people whose house he died at and their friends.
It took many investigations from multiple outside departments, including scrutiny from the FBI to show that while exposure contributed to his death, John's injuries were not from a vehicle. The local murderers--pardon me, investigators--destroyed evidence including dumping cell phones at military bases, getting rid of the family dog that likely bit John before his death, group chats hinting at attempts to frame Karen and agreement to claim John was never at the house, google searches about dealing with dead bodies, and witnesses suddenly recanted testimony as the investigation raged on.
Ironically (or not), Chris, the brother of the homeowner cop Brian Albert, used his cop buddies to help get him out of trouble in a hit-and-run death of an international student in the 90s as well as bar fights in the 2000s. Michael Proctor, a "disgraced former State Police trooper" is also among those suggested to be part of the cover up, as well as ATF agent Brian Higgins. Allegedly, even the FBI tried to reel in the prosecution office of Michael Morrissey who was so bent on proving it was Karen, smearing anyone who suggested a cover-up was a conspiracy theorist. Interestingly, Morrissey had also previously claimed conspiracy when a woman was possibly killed by the father of her unborn child, a cop who was married to someone else and had groomed her since she was a teenager at a cop camp, and Canton police ruled it a suicide.
What a star-studded cast.
“At first you think maybe it’s just incompetence, maybe it’s negligence, sloppiness,” Perkins said. “But this is so much it makes you start to question intentional conduct.”
Check out this extremely disdainful piece highlighting the open discussion of Canton and Mass state police and prosecutor corruption:
These discussions have been raised for YEARS and every probe digs up more cops connected to other corrupt cops who cover for other corrupt cops and everyone did a cover-up together.
A side note of all these stories: do not date or sleep with cops, do not take them on as "mentors," cause oh boy will it not protect you from abuse, murder, and frame jobs.

“caught in the crossfire” is crazy work when it’s your own reporter and it’s a video where you can just watch the cop aim directly at her and shoot her completely 100% on purpose with your own two eyes

Sending the guard dogs of the state into our cities to kidnap our neighbors is the start of the "violence." Any and all response is self-defense. All my love to the rioters.

When you accidentally say the q word (quest) and your knight starts gently clanking from their happy wiggles like now you've done it, you have to send them into the dragon's lair or their helmet ploom will droop and they'll start waxing sad poetic in the moonlight

steven is a really funny character actually. he never went to school. one of his powers is astral projection for no real reason. hes a musical prodigy. he was so traumatized by the end of the show they had to make an entire epilogue series about it. he spent seven years looking like a 3rd grader. he was even bisexual
