Soulmate AU idea?

Person A is an artist

Person B is an author

they have never met each other

every so often, when person A is tired or doesn’t know what they want to draw, they’ll end up sketching person B. they have no clue who this person is or why they keep showing up in their art

and person B keeps defaulting to a character description in all their stories when they’re lost. they won’t know they’re describing person A every time

then one day

they see each other. through a mutual friend or in public or they get a job at the same place or have a class together

and person A is just. staring

and person B is so confused, because why is this cute stranger staring at me

and person A maybe can’t place why this person is so familiar until oh. it’s them.

and person B goes home and tells their friend about this person that they met that was staring at them all day. and they start to describe what they looked like or acted like and it clicks

fluff ensues

that being said:

baz is slytherin. my boy is clever and cunning af.

simon is griffindor bc he really just acts first and thinks later. he’s also very stubborn.

i’m kinda torn with penny. i’m gonna say mostly ravenclaw because of the emphasis on the pursuit of knowledge, but she also has a little slytherin in her- she will do anything to accomplish her goals and she’s so driven.

i guess i would put agatha in hufflepuff. she’s pretty loyal to her friends (even if it’s reluctantly so)- even though she leaves for california, she thinks about them a lot. she left behind magic, but not them. she also stayed by simons side for so long because she felt that’s where she fit best, and that’s where simon wanted her.
