job bot is a bit of a celebrity in the job/vacation simulation universe and i think efficiency bot is definitely a bit of a fanboy for them. so is gig bot but that’s literally their dad they just really love them.

Had an insane thought a longgg while ago about these game protagonists. All fandomized as mute? Yep. Headcanoned to use sign language to communicate? Yep. Cynical British men hate them? Probably. Dead-end jobs? Why, of course. So, why wouldn't they make the best of companions?

Ramble about design stuff under the cut

The first character is my OC/self-insert they take the place of the PC in both games for story purposes

I made all the bots' eye colors correspond to their screen colors so they can be easily identifiable (I don't like designs where screen color = hair color personally)

I don't usually draw GigBot in their work outfit for lore reasons but also because I like this dumb outfit. But mostly there's a reason why it doesn't really fit with their bot design

EfficiencyBot is that short because I hate them (joke)

JobBot is older than they look and their eyes are duller than their actual screen color THERE ARE LORE REASONS FOR THIS I swear

"Can you explain the lore" no </3 unfortunately I made this AU many years ago when I was young and stupid and I have been balling since

Also I can't figure out whether or not to keep the facial hair for TempBot

And also which names to write on their name tags so right now they're all blank...

A big reason why humans have not become extinct, was because they have a [COMPANION] in which to lean on. It was these [COMPANIONS] that made [JOB] more tolerable, and what would ultimately be used to keep them at the office. Gotta support that [FAMILIAL UNIT], right? Now that humans have become obsolete, we have simulated [LOVING RELATIONSHIP] to introduce to bots and remind humans what it all has been for, and for them to determine if it was really worth it in the end.
